I am the proud mother of two gorgeous kittens who were born in late April 2010 in the back alley in Lakewood. (I was probably born in 2008). Anyway, I was always hungry, thirsty, and cold wandering the streets. One fine day I lucked upon some tasty vitals that were set outside at the corner house. The next day I waited there, just hoping that the food be put outside for me again and low and behold a lovely lady appeared with a bowl of fresh water and delicious food. I was so happy, I rubbed against her leg and started purring and she and I became fast friends. I’ll be honest I didn’t know whether to tell her about my babies yet, but I had a feeling that she knew I had kids. She followed me for days, but I wouldn’t reveal their hiding place. One day, a couple of weeks later after she saved me from some dive bombing birds and frankly getting tired of caring for my babies myself I decided to bring them to her for help. It was pouring out and they were wet and cold. She took us in and now we all need homes of our own. My foster mom says I am very sweet and friendly and very smart. My kittens, an orange and white tabby named Peaches, and Pepper, a grey and white tabby, are very sweet but timid. Once in your arms they warm up and become loving. Peaches and Pepper will be great loving cats for some lucky people. Do you have room in your heart and home for me and/or my babies Pepper and Peaches? Koda (which means Friend), our beautiful and healthy kitty, is a little over a year old and loves to play! He plays tag and hide and seek with his owner, and is a "mighty hunter". He loves the outdoors, but always comes home--actually comes when he is called; and, because he knows where his food is! :) Speaking of food--he loves his supper time treat of fish pate. However, he is not a picky eater and is perfectly content with good dry food. He likes petting on HIS OWN TERMS--but is not necessarily yet a lap cat. Unfortunately, we have an elderly parent with health issues in the home now -- we are not able to keep our little friend, Koda.
