Calico kittens & cats in Blaine, Washington

Lola is a wonderful cat! She’s 3 years old and I’ve had her since she was about 3 months. About a year ago, she lost her best friend, my cat Ollie (see photo). After that, she hasn’t been able to connect with any other cats. She is an indoor/outdoor cat and makes friends easily with people. In fact, she’s found many people (without pets) who she’s apparently been hanging out with quite a bit. She needs to be in a house without other pets - she wants to be the one and only and get all the attention from her owner(s). I would love to keep her, but she just can’t seem to get along with my other cats. At this point I can’t even get her to come inside unless the other cats are gone. Now that the weather is changing, I hate to see her outside at night - luckily I have a cat house with a self heating blanket, but she would prefer to be inside with her people. She’s very sweet, likes to cuddle and purrs when she’s happy - aka when no other cats are near!

Summer is an independent cat that likes to spend time outdoors. She would like a home that allows her to be indoor/outdoor. She would prefer a quiet secluded home that is not by a busy road.

I'm a beautiful calico here at the shelter. I have seen things and am wise beyond my years. I don't have time for games, but I somehow always have time for a nap. I am having a wonderful time in the community room but I do prefer to have a lap to sit on so I can help you read, watch T.V. or work on your computer. I promise not to walk on the keyboard. I can be talkative, so if you would like to carry on a conversation, come visit me.

Cosmo is a sweet and beautiful senior. She was adopted in 2010 to keep a mature dog company. Eventually that dog passed away and was replaced with 2 more and the cat has played second fiddle ever since. She seems to be target-peeing on the dogs' belongings. At first we worried that she had a urinary tract issue, but the vet said that she is healthy and that her issues are psychological. We have given her extra love and chances, but the targeting problem has only worsened since we got a camper last year and she is left behind while the rest of us go camping. I think that she would be such a "Happy Camper" if she didn't have to compete for attention. She enjoys snuggling in your lap, she likes to hang out on your desk, and she likes to be held and have her feet massaged. She comes with a food dispenser full of designer cat kibble, a cat box full of fresh litter, two fashionable cat beds, and a painted portrait.

Yes, I am shy. I need a gentle, patient approach. I need someone who can take the time to win my trust. But just as they say -- shy cats need love too! Hello!  We are known as the spice litter!  Our mama was saved from the streets of Houston, Texas and taken into a foster home before giving birth to us.  Our foster took good care of us and now we're ready for our furever homes!  We are all cuddly, playful girls!  Boxes, toy mice, and cat trees are some of are favorites, just to name a few!  We can often be found cuddled together on our cat tree or looking like little monkeys, climbing up the sides of the cat tree.  We love laying in the lap of our foster or even better, when people come to play with us!  We are still located in Houston, Texas receiving the last of our vaccines but we will be ready to travel to the Pacific Northwest in early March! The brown tabby girls are Rosemary, Basil, and Thyme.  The black and white girls are Salt and Pepper.  All kittens would do well on their own or adopted with a sibling!
