Story
My name is Flop—I'm a special kitty looking for a special family. I was born with a developmental condition called cerebellar hypoplasia (CH), AKA “Wobbly Kitty Syndrome”. CH affects the portion of the brain that controls balance and coordination. Experts would call my case is “severe” because I can’t walk, but the condition is not painful or contagious. I need a little extra help using the litter box and at meal time, and playing with me every day is important for maintaining my muscles. Otherwise, I’m just a normal cat! I love playing with wand toys, napping in warm spots, and snuggling with my favorite humans. It takes me a while to warm up to strangers (I may hiss at you at first) but I promise that I can be very loving if you take the time to get to know me! I purr, I knead, and if I really like you I’ll give you kisses like a dog! I love my current owner but I need more attention than she can give me, so I’m looking for a family who can give me all the time in the world!

Story
Hi! Im Marley, a sweet, but shy guy staying here at Blue Mountain Humane Society. I came here with my buddies Boboy and Jay Jay while we wait for our furr-ever homes! It may take me a little bit to warm up to you, but once I do, I will curl up in your lap and nap the day away! I can be pretty startled by loud noises and sudden movements, so I would probably do best in a home without dogs or small children. If I sound like the right guy for you, fill out an application online, and come down to see me! I cant wait to meet you!

Story
Hello! My name is Suzie and I am an independent little kitty here at the Blue Mountain Humane Society looking for my forever home. I was brought in with my friend Simba, and we are on the more introverted side. We would love to find a home together, but it's not required. We have lived in a home with dogs before, and we learned that we would prefer to go to a home where there are no other furry friends besides us. If you are someone who would be willing to give us the time and love we need to feel comfortable, please fill out an adoption application online. Then you can come on down during the shelter's open hours to meet us! We'll see you soon!
