Story
Boaz isn’t exactly a new addition to the CHS family. Having been adopted out for the first time in 2017 and recently returned to us, we are now looking for a new forever home for him. Boaz is kind of a complicated kid; he lacks trust in new people when he initially meets them. He is going to be a very loyal companion and an exceptionally good protector. We would not be willing to put him in a home with cats or with kids that are under 16 years of age. This guy is going to need a home where he could stretch his legs and get the daily exercise that he needs. He is very big and very goofy and sometimes has no idea that he is as large as he is. Being a Canaan Mixed breed we would ask that prior to meeting him you please do your research on the breed so that you can understand fully what you are getting into. These guys are known to be protectors of their people, and they will be very vocal, for that reason they are not great at living in the city, there tends to be to much going on and they become overly protective of their property. Boaz also is going to do best in an only dog home. He has a tendency to want to guard objects and stuff from other dogs. He loves a mean game of chase, but we are fairly confident that having another dog in his home would be against what he would actually like to have. He deserves a life of being the most important animal in the home.
