Story
We adopted Maggie from Greenville Animal care. She has been a sweet and fiesty addition to our home. She is always on alert with our cats and has lunged at them at times, usually for play but she is larger and vocal so they are scared. She will get nervous and roll over on her back and snap at you when you try to get her to move or roll over. She will do this on leash sometimes or when she has gotten under a bed and we are trying to coax her out. She loves to play with toys and be petted and snuggled with. She will sit on command and wait until treat is put directly to her mouth before taking it gently. Overall she is a sweet dog at 7 years old. We are moving and unable to take her with us. She has bit one family friend on leg. It bruised but did not break skin. This was unprovoked but was friends first visit to house.

Story
We adopted him about a year & 1/2 ago from a Humane Soceity. They estimated that he was 1 year at that time putting him at roughly 2 1/2 now. He really needs more room to run than we can provide as well as someone who has more time to work with him. We do not have a fenced in yard to allow him to run. We also both work full time and he has to be crated until our son comes home from school (we do come home at lunch & let him out & to play for the lunch hour as well). He has learned to sit & lay down and is very trainable. He is crate trained but is out at night without any issue (he sleeps in bed with us). He is also housetrained. He plays with our larger dog - they do play rough! He can be corrected with a spray bottle without issue. One main issue we have with Luke is he will not allow us to trim his nails. We work with him on allowing us to hold his paws but we have not devised a way to complete this task without him freaking out and lashing out.

Story
Hi y'all, Fawn here. Don't let my serious look fool you. My theme song is "Girls only want to have Fun". Here at the shelter I love nothing better than hanging out and playing chase with one of my pals Skippy, Calvin or my best friend Buddy. I also play well with smaller dogs and don't mind cats. I love all people including the kiddies. The more the merrier. Please stop by to visit me soon. Toodle-loo.

Story
www.pet-tender.com/adoptionform.htm   Through no fault of their own...these two siblings need a new home.. They have grown up together and are very bonded, so we are hoping to keep them together.  They are energetic, loving, playful and just would like a nice fenced yard to run around and play when outside.   We have chosen Kuranda dog beds for our boarding facilities because they are so good for our dogs. We still don't have enough for all of our kennels. If you would like to donate a bed so another dog can sleep in proper comfort, please click here.
