Story
KITTEN SEASON IS OVER! It will resume in MAY/JUNE 2020. Please consider adopting a wonderful adult cat from the shelter! ---------MEDICAL INFO:---------- WE DO NOT CUT CORNERS WITH OUR CATS HEALTH NOR ONLY DO THE BARE MINIMUM REQUIRED BY LAW!!! We are a quality over quantity based rescue with our cat's health and your resident pet's health as a priority. We don't sacrifice quality health care for lower costs or hurrying to free up space in our program like other rescues and shelters do. We want your adoption experience to be a pleasant one. A response is usually given with 24-48 hrs. INTERVIEW: An adoption counselor will contact you via phone to answer any questions and if it seems like a good fit, arrangements will be made for all parties to meet with desired cat(s) at a mutually agreeable time. APPROVAL: If adoption is approved, a contract and adoption fee to cover veterinary costs will be required. You will be given medical files. TIME FRAME: Based on volunteer availability, it is possible for all adoption steps to be completed the same day, however, it is not guaranteed. Please note that occasionally a home check, vet records/references, etc may be required and multiple people may be interested in the same cat(s) so additional time may be necessary. WHY: Our adoption vetting process ensures a proper feline fit for your family. You may be a wonderful pet owner but may not be the best fit for a particular cat, or other extenuating circumstances. Also, YOU may know you are a good pet owner, but we don't. We exist because too many people view pet ownership as casual or disposable so we want to be sure the best match is made for the next 15-20 years. Your patience and understanding as to where we are coming from are much appreciated. Our adoption process is also reflective of the extremely thorough medical protocol our kittens receive. Thank you! For FAQS and Priority Consideration, please fill out an application located at the link below. Story
My husband found Bella around 15 years ago and she was already declawed. He had her as an inside cat but she'd always get out and didn't want to be inside. Then, 10 years ago he brought home another kitten that he found but she would not get along with him no matter how much we tried and she just wanted outside, so, we let her be an outside cat. Somehow even with no front claws, she'd climb the tree next to our house and would sleep up on the roof. She manages to kill small birds, mice and voles around our property. Unfortunately, we just had to trim the trees closest to our home, mandatory for insurance purposes which has now made it difficult for Bella. She has no problem getting up but then can't seem to get down so we are constantly having to climb up a ladder to fetch her. We are growing tired of doing this, as well as we will be moving this summer to a property that has more open space, but also more animals that may be a danger to her.

Story
We’ve had Wilson since before we were married. He’s the nicest cat you could ask for, never hisses, scratches, or bites. Our 4 year old carries him around and he doesn’t get mad. Since having a new baby, we have not been able to give Wilson the attention he needs or deserves. He started peeing on our couch, has peed on the baby’s car seat, and on her diaper bag with her clothes in it. We are unable to manage this and need to place him with someone who can cuddle him and love him the way he requires and enjoys. Having a toddler and a baby climbing on us all day does not allow us to have Wilson sit on our lap and relax the way we used to. We love him and are extremely sad to have to let him go but we can’t live with him constantly peeing on and destroying the things we need for the baby.

Story
Sweet gentle cat she gets along with other cats and dogs. She likes children and is not destructive in the house. She is cat box trained or she goes outside to do her business then comes back in. She is basically a indoor cat. She has been chipped, It is easy to add current information by making one call. I am relocating and I cannot bring her with me. Please consider Fostering her until I return by the end of May. She is 4 years old, her birthday is 12/15/2015. I have all her information in a folder that I will share with you.

Story
This cat is remarkable. She is super athletic, super strong, super smart, and has an incredible talent at communication. She has more than thirty different 'meows' telling you her thoughts and feelings! This might be the bast part of her personality, she can communicate! She is not needy at all, but she does like sleeping on the bed snuggled next to you. If you want a mouser, you cannot find a better cat. She is about 7 years old and knows not to scratch furniture.

Story
We inherited Periwinkle from a friend that passed away this summer. She is a very sweet cat that loves to snuggle and talk. Unfortunately, she does not like kids (we have two). She would do best in a home with no children. She has lived with other cats and a small dog in the past. She always uses her litter box. She is around 5 or 6 years old.
