Story

Red is a spry and lovely 5-year old male medium-hair cat. He’s a cute size, approximately 9.5 lbs, 100% litter-trained, neutered, vaccinated, healthy, and active. He loves to spend his evenings inside on the couch or nearest lap and his days outside roaming the back 40 or lounging in the sun. He even used to hike with us behind our house when we had more land. Unfortunately, our recent move from rural Vermont to a residential setting in northern California is creating insurmountable challenges. He’s best suited to a home with space/property, and a family with no other cats. He doesn't play well with other male cats, however we have never seen him with a female so that is unclear. He is a wonderful, affectionate, playful cat and we’re so sad to lose him, but we’re hopeful that someone can take him in and give him the life he deserves.

Forget training dragons- training cats is where it's at! While our Toothless has her differences from her movie namesake- namely, that she isn't able to shoot plasma blasts from her mouth- she has plenty of similarities with the intelligent, loyal dragon (including the fact that she does indeed have teeth). Toothless takes time to learn to trust new people, and while winning her love definitely requires a cat-savvy, patient individual, the rewards you reap are well worth the time you put in. There is nothing more satisfying than the moment this cat decides she likes you, and jumps into your lap for a nice, long snuggle session. Tiny is officially one of the nicest cats we've ever met. He does have one problem: there aren't NEARLY enough opportunities for lap-sitting while he's staying with us.
