Ling is seven years old; I am 86. She will outlive me, and I want her to go to a new home while she is still young-adult. She is very affectionate and will go with anyone who will pet her. Because a tabby male got to her Siamese mother just before or after she was bred to another Siamese, her owner put the whole litter up for adoption at Aloha Pet Hospital in Indian Harbour Beach where my husband adopted her and her half-brother Tippy seven years ago. While it would be nice for them to go to a new home together, I believe they can be independently re-homed very successfully.

Tippy is very affectionate, but like other Siamese, forms a strong bond with one person. He is seven years old and I'm 86, so it is best to re-home him soon, for his sake. He was my husband's cat, closely bonded, but my husband died last summer and that was very traumatic for Tippy. He wouldn't go back to the bedroom wing of the house where his litter box was in a closet in one of the rooms, so he relieved himself on the living-room carpet and a back door rug. I put new litter boxes in those spots and that worked, but who wants a litter box in their living room? He has re-bonded to me, but that took a couple of months, so please give him time to get to love you. You will be rewarded with a beautiful and loving cat. He is de-clawed, a full-time indoor cat not even tempted to go outside (here, anyway). All twenty of his toes are tipped with white; thus "Tippy-toes" -> Tippy. I love him, but really must let him go to a new home.
