Story
Scooter is a year-and-a-half old male who was rescued from a feral colony. He had been extremely friendly to the feeder and she noted that he seemed extremely lethargic and was having trouble moving around. He was taken to be examined at a vet where they diagnosed a grade 5 heart murmur. He is now on medication and doing quite well on it, but the prognosis is not known. The heart murmur does not seem to slow him down as he enjoys playing, cuddles with some of the other cats in the foster home, enjoys being on Foster Mom's lap and is generally a very sweet kitty. One of his favorite places is to be perched in the cat tree so he can see out the window and take a snooze. His medications run approximately $50 a month and have maintained his stability. Another consideration is that he would need a cardiogram on a yearly basis to assess the status of his heart.  TO LEARN MORE ABOUT HIM, PLEASE CONTACT HIS FOSTER MOM, KATHY, AT  kdykster@aol.com.     We encourage you to file an on line application for this or any of our pets by clicking HERE or by going to www.animal-aid.com for a Pet Adoption Application .  Please include the name of the cat(s) or kitten(s). Story
Are you the one, that special person, that individual who loves cats who have special needs? Our sweetheart Tosha needs to find that someone who will see past the fact that she is a one eyed, toothless cat and see the beauty that lies within her little body. She is not limited in her abilities and doesn’t want her human to see anything but the spirit that is alive in her. Tosha loves pets and attention and wet food treats in that order. Do you have it in your heart to take home our sweet girl and give her a home and a human of her own? Please, come meet her and see what we volunteers see every day.
