Story
Marley is a wonderful cat, great in homes and with other animals and children. Our only problem with her is that we can not find a solution for why she is vomiting all the time. We are not able to provide her the care nor have the funds to figure out why she is vomiting everyday. We have tried many different types of food and remedies. Please help her and take her off our hands and into a home that can care for her

Story
I rescued Freya from a really bad situation when she was about 7 weeks old, she was covered in fleas and locked in a house with three other kittens and no mother cat to be feeding them. The woman who had taken her in had passed away and she was locked in the house without food and water. I gave her to my mom, and when my mom was no longer able to keep her I took her in. Now I am moving and unfortunately don't have the space for her anymore. She is a very friendly, cuddly, and loving cat. She takes a minute to adjust to new spaces especially with other animals. She is not good with dogs and has attacked the dogs that were near her when that dog gets too close to her. She would be best in a house with no other animals. Otherwise she is the sweetest most kind cat I have ever met or been around in any way. I'm heartbroken to have to give her up but I'm sure someone else can give her a good home and the Vet care she needs. Thank you in advance I hope to hear from you soon.

Story
She is 9 years old. She's healthy with many more years left worth in companionship. Her attitude is aloof and low energy. She's perfectly fine with kids provided she has some place to retreat when things get too rowdy. As for other pets, she should get along with most as long as they aren't too in her face. She's shared a house with lots of other cats and dogs as well as young children and infants.

Story
Our Lucy is wonderful but unfortunately due to health issues we can no longer keep her. She is our princess and will is an inside pet but loves to lay on our back deck when it is nice out. She will come inside when you call for her. She does not have her front claws. She wakes up with us and will wait to get her first drink of the morning when you walk out with her. She likes to sleep with us on the bed. We do give her special food for her digestion that we buy from her vet. She gets a 1/4 cup in the morning and another in the evening. She comes with her container for food and the first two bags of food, water and food bowls. We don't want to put her in a shelter and we want her to go to a good home. It is not her fault that we can no longer keep her. I have two children and friends who come over with children and she gets along with everyone. It may take a bit for her to adjust to the change but she makes a great companion. Please help me find a great loving home for her.

Story
Hiya, my name is BLUE JAY. I'm a really good boy that has been at OPEN DOOR for a while. I'm a little bit playful, a little bit snuggly, and a little bit chill...I'm pretty much perfect. I originally came here when I was just a baby and then my family moved somewhere I couldn't go. I came back to the shelter and was adopted out again. Something really scary happened to me there, I won't talk about it with anyone, and I hid so good that my new family couldn't find me for a week. They brought me back and I just didn't trust people for the longest time after that. I think I'm ready for a home now, but can it be forever this time? If you want to, come by and ask for BLUE JAY!

Story
Hello, my name is JULIET and I am waiting very patiently for my forever home. I know that I'm a great cat because I hear all the employees say that they can't believe I'm still here. If you are in need of a lap warmer, I'm definitely your girl. I am very affectionate and love to curl up in people's laps and be petted. I also adore being petted, snuggled, and brushed. I'll tell you a secret about me though, I'm an addict. I am addicted to catnip, it is my most favorite thing in the whole world. Don't worry, I do let the catnip interfere with with my daily life. If you are looking for a wonderfully sweet, laid back girl that with cherish any minute with you, please stop by and meet with me. Ask for JULIET...and bring catnip!
