Story
Jasper has a rough time with little kids. He is very shy from his young life when I found him abandoned. Jasper I believe has some trauma & therefore doesn’t like smaller children or dogs. Jasper is very loving & very affectionate, he eats soooo much but always burns it off in the middle of the night. He needs a forever loving home..

Story
Indy came to the Fairmount Animal Hospital Adoption Program; as an owner surrender, from a multiple cat home. Indy needed to be the only cat. Indy is affectionate but only on her terms. When stressed she may express frustration by growling/biting. Indy should not be unsupervised around children. Indy has been introduced to a Labrador Retriever and is not bothered by him. Indy’s new Veterinarian suspects she has neurologic pain associated with a poorly done declaw, at another facility. This is likely why Indy becomes stressed when overstimulated. Indy takes a medication which is effective in managing discomfort/stress. This doesn’t stop her from playing! Indy is looking for the right furever friend, who is cool with her being herself! Indy is thriving in foster care! She is affectionate, silly and enjoys spending time with company! She loves laying in windows or head bumping for affection, rolling around on cat perches and taking naps. Most of all she loves playing w/a feather toy!
