Story

Onyx (alpha, male, black & white tuxedo) and Misty (female, gray stripes) are litter mates and must be adopted together as indoor cats. Chasing a string, each other & feathers on a wand, jumping in and out of empty boxes, and playing fetch are their favorite activities. Both love to be stroked while sitting on a lap but only when they initiate the session. They like to sit in a chair next to my desk and watch or sleep. They stay with me in whatever room I’m in. Both are friendly but prefer not to be picked up. They are independent, gentle creatures, startled by sudden movements, loud noises and dogs. A quiet home with adults or older folks would be ideal. They tolerate grooming several times a week. A tiny bit of coconut concentrate they get each morning contributes to their beautiful, shiny coats. So why am I parting with these beautiful creatures? I have osteoporosis and am at risk of falling because they are lovingly underfoot! I can’t afford to break bones!
