Salem was adopted by my son as a kitten. When my son and his girlfriend split up last year Salem came to live with me. He is roughly 4 years old. Salem needs to be in a home with someone who is patient with him. He has always been very untrusting of people. He only allows certain people to cuddle him. He shies away from everyone else or hisses and growls at them. Salem is quiet, calm and stand-offish but when he wants love, he’s demanding!

Dori showed up at our house the morning after Hurricane Dorian. She was so wet and scared, but has turned into one of the sweetest kittens we have ever had. It will take someone who has experience with animals in order for you to be able to get close to her at all. She has always been that way. Right now she is a little skinny from having kittens April 6th and she keeps nursing 2 of them that is left. I would like to point out that this might seem to be a lot of work to put into a cat but she loves to lay down at your feet until someone else come over. She can be good with cats and dogs sometimes. She was found by my boyfriend outside my outside a place being terrorized by some kids and her sister had to have her leg taken off.

Story

Bean was rescued with two other kittens in Macon, Georgia by my roommate at the time. Unfortunately, the other two kittens passed not so long after the adoption due to illness and left Bean by herself in a new apartment. After a short period of time I decided to get her a companion and adopted Virgil from the local PetSmart. They have since become an extremely bonded pair. Bean is extremely outgoing and has a tendency to run to noises that you would expect any other living creature to run away from. She can be vocal and is great at communicating her wants and needs. She can be very playful and has grown used to having scratching posts and toys throughout the house. Virgil is a male tuxedo Domestic Longhair (some vets have called him a Maine Coon) and is the polar opposite of his companion. He will spend all of his day napping or just laying out on his own. The only time you were ever really from him and his squeaky meow is when he's hungry or he's really needing some loving.
