Story
FIV+I am a handsome tabby with white male, estimated to be born in 2011.   I am special needs because I am FIV positive.  I was sick and living in a small colony right along Sullivant Ave in an old boarded up business. My foster mom trapped me and got me healthy.  I am still able to live a healthy and happy life with FIV.  A low stress environment is what's best for me.  I am a very loveable boy and I get along with the other cats in my foster mom's house. I even get along with the Jack Russell terrier in my foster home. To learn more about FIV visit:  http://bestfriends.org/resources/fiv-cats-faqs  (sc)  **If interested in adopting me, please fill out an online adoption application at http://colonycats.org/adoption_app.html  to expedite the process. Due to the large number of inquiries received, we are unable to respond to emails quickly.**

Story
FIV+Mistletoe has a beautiful long fur coat and is positive for FIV.  He's also neutered, microchipped, FL negative and up to date on vaccines.  If you'd like to meet him, please ask one of our volunteers to escort you to the FIV room at the adoption center. Feline Immunodeficiency Virus positive cats can live normal lives both in quality and duration. They do take special care in terms of monitoring them for signs of infection.  FIV can be passed from cat to cat via deep bite wounds, but not from casual contact so positive cats can live with negative cats without the fear of spreading FIV as long as they get along and are spayed/neutered. For more information about FIV – feline immunodeficiency virus visit this website: https://bestfriends.org/resources/fiv-cats-faqs-feline-immunodeficiency-virus We currently have sponsorship funds for FIV+ cat adoptions.  With an approved application you could adopt me without an adoption fee as the sponsor has already paid it for you.  Speak to a Colony Cats representative about this. Story
Look into Walda's soulful eyes.  A home please.  A home of my very own.  Is that too much to ask of little old me?  Walda has been with our rescue since she was a kitten. She's now almost 7 years old. Walda does well with other cats but can be aloof when the center is open. She's a petite lady who is looking for her forever home.  DOB Dec 2012. Come meet Walda at the adoption center in Dublin.  She is spayed, microchipped, FL/FIV tested (negative) and up to date on vaccines.   Walda's adoption fee is partially sponsored which means that with an approved application, your adoption fee is $15 instead of $65 as a Sponsor has paid part of her adoption fee for you.

Story
Life has never been easy for Maddy - rescued from a hoarding situation.  It is so precious that she still has so much to offer after all the challenges. Maddy is very affectionate towards human. Her favorite things to do are to eat, to sleep, and to make biscuit as she is being petted. Don’t be tricked by her small size, as an mature adult cat, she is house trained, and does not require a lot of play time. She respect her humans’ personal space when they are busy, but like to be petted at any time, any where. Maddy only eats wet pate food since some of her teeth are removed.  Sh'es not a fan of other cats, but she can live with a calm, friendly dog or be the only spoiled pet in the household. She is spayed, vaccinated, FL/FIV negative.  DOB June 2012 Maddy is currently in foster care so if you'd like to meet her , please fill out an online adoption application at http://colonycats.org/adoption_app.html to expedite the process.  Due to the large number of inquiries received, we are unable to respond to emails quickly.** KL
