Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi!  My name is Savannah.  My foster mom does not know where I came from, except that she trapped me in her garage in March of 2010.  I was seven months old then.  I am a funny little kitty.  I really love my foster mom, especially when she pays attention to me.  My foster mom has so many other kitties and can't spend a lot of one-on-one time with me.  But the more she pays attention to me, the more loving I become.  If she scratches me on my tummy, you could just say I downright giggle.  I do not like to be picked up and carried though.  I am intimidated by the many other cats here and would probably prefer to be an only cat.  I like to follow my foster mom around and sleep with her also.  I'm a very sweet little kitty.I have been spayed, combo tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV, all shots and deworming.  Please adopt me!  I don't like living here with so many, many other kitties!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.About Ginger: (Be sure and watch my video below with other pictures.) I am a lovely, sweet, friendly, playful cat. My foster is crazy about me! Why can't she keep me? Well, she has a bunch of other cats and that makes me a bit nervous. I'd probably be okay with one or two cat companions, but the group home situation just doesn't work for me. Besides, what I'm really crazy about is people! I adore being petted and will roll over and show my belly for additional affection and snuggly rubs. Given how gentle I am, I would do great in a home with children. I'd also be a great companion for an older person looking for a single, loving cat – not that I wouldn't be equally great for a younger person who wants an affectionate feline! If a purring, adoring (and adorable) feline is what you're looking for, you've found her.Ginger has been spayed, combo tested negative for FIV and feline leukemia, all shots and dewormed and will be microchipped at the time of adoption.  Her adoption fee is $75.00Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Precious was living at a trailer park with a man who was not in good health.  He really loved his kitties.  So we saved all ten of them.  He named him Precious, and OMG, his name fits him so, so well.  He is just so precious.  And he makes sweet little kitty precious noises when he's playing.  He is so, so loving, wants to sleep right next to you and be in your lap.  He would be good with another cat.  It's time this boy got a wonderful home to go with his wonderful personality.  Call Mary Kay at 713-453-8621 or e-mail her at mkhendricks1@comcast.net or fill out an application at https://catsforlife.rescuegroups.org.  Precious is approximately nine years old, neutered and up-to-date on shots.  He could easily live another ten years.  He's a senior who would be great with a senior person or just with anybody who wants an incredibly gentle, loving cat.  His adoption fee is $85.  He will be microchipped at the time of adoption.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.(Be sure and watch my video at the bottom of the description!) Hi! My name is Natalie. I love to play! I'm also very, very affectionate. My relative, Capri, and I were rescued by my foster mom from a halfway house. My foster mom doesn't know exactly how we're related (either siblings or mom and daughter), but we love to cuddle up with each other. Now that I've gotten to know my foster mom, I just adore cuddling up to her and playing. It's like I've discovered this whole new species, humans! And I love them! I never knew how wonderful they could be.I would do well with other cats, but my foster mom really wants me to be adopted with Capri. My foster mom has said that she has never seen two adult cats so bonded to each other. I don't know how I'd do with dogs because my foster mom doesn't have any dogs. I would love to cuddle up to one of those humans at night in bed. Right now I stay in the 'foster room' at night because my foster mom has too many other cats that sleep on the bed with her. I'd really love to have one of those humans of my own! Contact Mary Kay at 713-453-8621.NatalieAdoption info: My estimated DOB is 5-07. My adoptioin fee is $85. I am spayed, combo tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV, all shots and dewormed.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Mr. Greenjeans was acquired by Mary Kay, president of Cats for Life, through one of those neighborhood.com 'free kittens' ads.  Many kittens will die as a result of something like that, for many reasons.  Mr. GJ and his siblings had a parasite called coccidia, which can cause kittens to become dehydrated and die, or someone who acquired the 'free' kitten could have gotten tired of the diarrhea that coccidia can cause and thrown them outside.  Mr. GJ and his siblings are all rid of the coccidia now and very healthy.  Mr. GJ, along with siblings, is extremely loving, playful, just a wonderful, wonderful little kitty.  Lots of times foster mom has had to socialize kittens, but these guys were all socialized very well by the person who advertized them.  There were four of them, and Mary Kay would love to adopt them two and two.  Cubby and Cherry got adopted together. Mr. GJ needs to be adopted with his sister, Sherry.  They are very bonded and just can't be separate.  Look at other pics and video to see how much they love each other. There are two pics of Mr. GJ alone and two pics with Sherry and Mr. GJ together. The adoption fee for Mr. GJ alone is $90.  If you adopt both Sherry and Mr. GJ together, the adoption fee will be $150.  Mr. GJ is neutered, combo tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV, treated for parasites, all shots and microchipped.  You can e-mail Mary Kay at mkhendricks1@comcast.net or call her at 713-453-8621.  These babies are phenomenal!!!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.    As with so many commuinity cats, we know very little about Phoenix.  However, we do know that he lived near a post office, and neither snow or rain or heat or gloom of night would keep his caretakers from feeding him every night, hoping that he would be there.  We also knew that after being trapped and neutered, we found him to be a very affectionate, loving three-year-old cat who would love to be a part of someone's loving home.  Phoenix is FIV positive but is very healthy and could live a normal life span in a home where he is well taken care of.  Please consider allowing Phoenix to be a part of your family.  He is too loving to live by himself in the bushes at the post office.  He has been neutered, combo tested negative for feline leukemia, all shots and dewormed.  Call Mary Kay at 713-453-8621 or e-mail her at mkhendricks1@comcast.net.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.
