Story
Berloiz is a 1 yr old DSH. Berlioz has been wormed, neutered, microchipped, tested negative for feline leukemia. He has had his rabies and his feline leukemia vaccination booster and is on prevention for fleas. He is a very sweet boy and just loves to be petted. He's good with other cats. He plays any time the other cats in his foster home that will play with him, they're older and not much fun. He likes them just fine though. He does seems to be VERY afraid of dogs. Anytime one of our dogs goes near the pen, Berloiz runs to the opposite side and climbs to the top. The dogs just ignore the cats. He lives in an indoor/outdoor cattery with other cats. He gets lots of love from his foster mom. He does use a litter box. Berlioz is completely vetted and microchipped and on preventatives. If you are interested in making this sweet boy part of your family please submit an application for adoption by going to our website, clicking on the forms page and selecting the adoption application @ www.furgivingheartsrescue.com and downloading the application and returning it via fax at 903-705-7727 or email at furgivingheartsrescue@yahoo.com The adoption fee for this sweet boy is $125.00

D.O.B.:     May 2, 2013Weight:      $60 adoption fee will pay for her spay and rabies vaccination.

Story
Please contact Tonya Griffith (TMSGriffith@aol.com) for more information about this pet.Posted 8/19/14, and pictures taken 8/6/14.  Heather was trapped at an elderly woman's home in Jacksonville on 6/17/14, and delivered 4 babies overnight before she was to be spayed.  The elderly woman already has 15 to 18 adult cats and two litters of kittens.  We kept Heather and her kittens in our isolation room after they were born for privacy, and she has since been spayed.  She has the shape of a Siamese, but is Black, and there were two Siamese and a Snowshoe at the house.  I believe this is her first litter.  She was a feral cat, but her hormones turned her into a cat that just wanted to be pet all the time.  Now that some time has passed after being spayed, she is back to being skittish, so she needs a home that knows how to work with her, and will be patient.  She would need to start out in a small room like a bathroom, so a person can sit down with her without her being able to hide.  A long handled brush can be used, as well as catnip, and small amounts of can food to help the bonding process.  She runs from me, but once I have her in a certain spot where she can't run anymore, she will let me pet her, even though she hisses at me.  She can be around older children, but I would not put her around small children, unless she becomes very affectionate, which can happen once someone can spend the time with her that is needed. D.O.B.:     ? October 2013Weight:     6.6 - 7/8/14 Our adoption contracts prohibit declawing of any kittens or cats, it is cruel, can traumatize the pet, and make the pet defenseless if the pet should get outside.  We encourage people to search for kittens and cats already declawed that need to find a new home. $70 adoption fee will pay for her spay and vaccinations.
