Ruby was picked up for TNR but after the spay she displayed such a sweet, loving nature that she went into foster care in hopes of finding a home. She displayed a disdain for most of the other cats there but a real love of her foster mom and dad. While she was there, foster mom got two small kittens which she put into a playpen. One night Ruby unzipped the playpen and got the kittens out. She began caring for them like a mother would, except for the feeding. She cuddled and bathed them. She would not let them leave the room, nor would she let other cats (except for one small female) come into the room. If they escaped, she brought them back, until she felt they were old enough to go downstairs and mingle with the other cats. She continued to love and protect them, while developing a bond with her foster parents. Her ideal home would be in a one cat family with loving, forever people. If you are looking for a young, loving lap cat, Ruby is it.

Rocky appeared a couple of days ago at our feral cat village. Since it was the end of the month, we presume he had belonged to someone who was moving away and either didn't want him or presumed he'd be happier there in the out-of doors. He is sweet and loving. He has obviously been well cared for, and by his weight, well fed. It is obvious from the way he purrs and wraps himself around his caretaker's feet that he wants a home. Before he is adopted, he will be neutered and have all of his shots. He has wonderful marble tabby markings and will grow to be a beautiful tabby.
