Story
Hershey will be 4 this Christmas. We adopted him along with his brother when he was about 4 months old. Hershey is a very loving cat. He will come on your lap and even likes to be held. About 8 months ago he started peeing in our clothes baskets. Since then he's peed in a few other places in our home. We have ruled out health issues and we believe he does it because he wants to be outside. Hershey loves to go outside but I don't want an outside cat. I think he would be happiest where he can be inside and outside, but I don't think he should be only an outside cat.

Story
Steak n Fries is a sweet girl but she also has a timid side of her. She would rather be the only pet in the household and she is not the most affectionate cat. She prefers her space until it’s time to be fed then she is following you everywhere being very verbal. We are not 100% sure how old she is. She has been around other animals and children but she just hides from them and hisses. She’s not mean towards them she just runs away.

Story
Hi my name is Spotty! I'm a beautiful young lady and I'm searching for just the right family! I'm a work in progress so it will definitely take me longer to adjust to a new family/home then most cats. While I've experienced human touch and interaction it hasn't been on a consistent basis so I'm really in need of more socializationand life experiences. I don't think I've spent much time indoors before so all those house type noises are new to me too and that is a lot to adjust to. I have lived with other cats, and I am using the litterbox appropriately here. Please consider giving me my second chance! I'm doing pretty well and don't tend to hide like some of my friends! I also have extra toes! While I think I would make a wonderful house companion in time, I may also be quite happy returning to the outdoor life. If you happen to be looking for a barn cat to help keep your pest population under control please contact the shelter about me!*BARN BUDDIES "Pest Control Specialists"* We have a few cats that are hoping to return to their outdoor lives now that Spring has sort of arrived! These kitties are semi social, and while they allow handling they're not really interested in socializing with humans much, even after 2-3 months in our care. They are looking for a barn type home, with food, water, and shelter provided for their services.!Covid-19 Quarantine!Due to the "Stay Home" Quarantine we are not open to the public until further notice. We are currently doing adoptions by appointment as needed. If you are seriously interested in adding a pet to your family during this time you will first need to submit an adoption application, once it is approved you will be contacted to set up an appointment day/time. You can find our applications on our website mashelter.org. Our cat adoption fee is reduced to $35 at this time.

Bagel here! I'm a handsome boy of 6 years and I'm looking for a forever family! I'm a very social boy who loves getting plenty of attention! I'm also content to settle down for a nice comfy cat nap numerous times throughout the day! I seem to do well around the other cats here at the shelter. !Covid-19 Quarantine!Due to the "Stay Home" Quarantine we are not open to the public until further notice. Story
Hello my name is Carson! I'm a regal floof of 9 1/2 years, and I'm looking for just the right family! I'm an awesome cat who is fantastic with people and absolutely loves attention and being doted on by my humans! Lets start with my bad side, I don't hate other cats but I don't love sharing my space with them and tend to misbehave when I have to compete with another cat for your affections, I know it's wrong but I just can't help it. I have never lived with dogs and I'm guessing I wouldn't be any happier about sharing you with them either. Now the good side! I am friendly with every person I meet, affectionate, talkative, and playful! I also make a wonderful couch potato and I love having my belly rubbed! I do require a special diet of Hills Prescription w/d food for past issues with colitis. !Covid-19 Quarantine!Due to the "Stay Home" Quarantine we are not open to the public until further notice. Story
Hello, my name is Bonnie. I'm a sweet Dilute Tortie and I'm around 7 months old. While I'm an adorable girl I'm still quite nervous about being in the shelter environment and tend to keep to myself. I know that with a little more time I'll have adjusted and become as friendly as all the other cats that came from the same home as me. I'm not crazy about being carried around but I do like being pet, I just need time to trust new people. I also love playing with toys...when I think no one is watching! If you're patient and willing to take a chance on me I'm positive I'll make a wonderful companion in no time! !Covid-19 Quarantine!Due to the "Stay Home" Quarantine we are not open to the public until further notice.
