Story
My husband and I found Bandit during the winter of 2015 in our garage. When we took her in, the vet thought she was a feral and around 3 yrs old. We had two other domestic shorthairs at the time (brother and sister) and she got along fine with both of them, and was never aggressive. Although she takes awhile to warm up to you, once she does, she loves to cuddle in your lap. She is the sweetest and most loving cat and it is with much difficulty, we feel we need to rehome her as she has issues with not using the litter box (peeing on carpet/mats). We have used an enzymatic cleaner but believe the smell is still detectable to her and encourages her to continue using those spots to relieve herself. We feel very strongly it is a behavioral issue and that our other female cat may be scaring her away when trying to use the box. We believe a home where she would be the only pet would be best for her. Possible behavioral factors: relocating (twice), addition of pet (dog), death of cat (male).

Story
Buckley is such a cool cat! He LOVES attention and needs to be where the action is. He loves to be outside and would do best in an indoor/outdoor home or as a barn cat. He is an amazing hunter and routinely catches mice and rabbits. Buckley is playful, affectionate, sweet, and an all-around good guy! Buckley showed up at my house last fall and he really hasn't left! His beautiful coat was matted and he needed some TLC. I am a CVT so I took him into work and we shaved him down so his coat can regrow more healthy! He is neutered, up to date on Rabies and Distemper, and has Revolution applied every month.

Story
We adopted Uhura, along with her brother Spock, from a local Organic Valley farmer. She’s up to date on Rabies and Distemper, been treated and cleared for ear mites, dewormed, and is not yet spayed. She took right to the litter box with no issues and is ok with using the scratching post but could use more training on scratching habits. Uhura is the gentler, quieter one of the pair. She prefers females and is not fond of rough play or a lot of energy. She spends a lot of time trying to hide from my energetic sons, but they love her too much and I often end up locking her in her room so she can get a break. She’s very patient with our four young children, but I have noticed her coming more impatient and aggressive when the cuddling gets to be too much. I’m concerned that if we keep her, she will develop behavior issues from my sons not respecting her boundaries and possibly attack one of our two girls out of anger. She needs a home with a lot less excitement. She’s a sweet, gentle cat

Story
We adopted Spock from a local Organic Valley farmer along with his sister. They are about 20 weeks old. Spock is playful, energetic and loving. He purrs constantly, and is very patient with the kids. We’ve had him neutered, he is current on rabies, distemper and been tested for heart worm. He was also dewormed and has been treated and cleared for ear mites. He has no health issues and is well cared for. He took right to the litter box with no issues, and is fairly good about keeping scratching to his post only. We have 4 young children, and they aren’t able to remember to be gentle and respectful with the cats, and the cats spend a lot of time locked in their bathroom so they can get a break. Spock also tries to steal people food, and with little kids running around with snacks, it’s a struggle to keep him out of their plates and away from their food. We just moved to a smaller house and it’s too little space for a family of six and two cats. We’d like them to be loved and cared for
