Story
Hi! My name is Dozier and I am from Minnesota. Hi! My name is Dozier and I am from Minnesota. Don't let my silver muzzle fool you! I'm a middle-aged silver fox with lots of pep in my step, a silky smooth coat, and a very distinguished look. With me, you don't have to worry about any of that puppy stuff! I'm fully potty trained, won't eat your shoes, and can be left home alone without being in a crate. I would love a home with a private yard and without shared walls. Noisy neighborhoods make me nervous and I prefer to have "me time" when I'm outside. Seeing dogs or people walking by disrupts my peace and causes me stress. Walks in less busy areas are my favorite; There are so many hidden gems! I grew up with cats and don't feel the need to chase squirrels. I'd rather get my steps in following you around the house in case you need me. I enjoy snuggling with people and can win just about anyone over with my sweet approach and the way I melt in your lap. I have a good relationship with my dog foster brother. Initially, we both liked having our own space as we got to know each other's smell and build trust. Now we can play together or relax together and enjoy each other's company. If we have some shared interests/lifestyles, I'd love to meet you and see if we'd be a good match!

Story
Why is it so hard for a leopard to hide? Because he's always spotted. Ha ha. Me too. I am lightly spotted like a tortilla that wasn’t browned enough. I get these subtle reddish speckles on my creamy white back drop from being a Cattle Dog mix. I need to tell you the story of how I got my name. Dunt danaduhhhhh….it is Super Cooper. What makes me so super duper cooper? I was spotted by a Good Sam…and that does not stand for Sammich, it stands for Samaritan…a person who does a good deed out of their kind heart. I was found with an injury to my leg that wasn’t determined to be old or new. So God’s Dogs Rescue agreed to take me into their fold and to the Vet to find out. The Good Sam also paid a donation of $1000 for my medical care. Wow, now she is the real super hero. All the ladies fell in love with me here at rescue camp. I am 8 months old and 35 pounds of sweetness and sugar. I know how to make each lady feel like they are the only chick on my dance card and I am very attuned to my person. The x-ray vision that the Vet had revealed an old fracture. It has healed pretty well approximated and made my leg a little shorter than the other three. The Vet determined that surgery would make it even shorter and not change the function or ability so we all opted to not put me through the drama of surgery. So now I am ready to go fly into your heart and arms. I am playful with other dogs, they don’t even notice that I am slightly different on one leg and you won’t notice it either once my personality shines and blocks all view of anything else. I hope to join a family soon! Adopt me! GOD'S DOGS Rescue, in San Antonio TX, does not have a shelter. Our dogs are raised in foster homes in the San Antonio area. Each dog comes spayed or neutered, up-to-date with age appropriate vaccinations, micro-chipped, heartworm tested and are current with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE OF $400 for dogs over a year old, which also includes the cost of transportation to the assigned location. Medical records accompany each dog at the time of delivery. Microchips will be registered to new owner(s) within a week of arrival of your pet. If a name change is desired, the new name should be emailed to records@godsdogsrescue.org prior to arrival of your new pup. Please visit our website http://godsdogsrescue.org/ for helpful information re: transport, our adoption process and application, volunteering and fostering, and photos of our dogs/pups looking for homes!! Thank you for wanting to adopt a rescued dog, their LIVES depend on it!

Story
Meet SNOOPY! He is an 8 month old Catahoula mixand is a very special critter! He was born with a congenital defect and his eyes didn’t completely develop.  This doesn’t slow him down for one second! He loves to run, jump and play! He especially loves kids and he is good with cats.  Snoopy weighs about 40 pounds and has a little more to grow.  He needs a weeeee bit of manners training just because he is SO foot loose and fancy free.  I don’t think this kid has a serious bone in his body! If you are looking for a friend for your dog or a great kid dog, this is it!

Story
Name: Zena DOB: 4 years old Breed: Catahoula Hello world, I'm Zena! I am a very sweet dog and am looking for a new human of my very own. I'm quite scared at times, but my foster sisters helped bring me out of my shell when I moved to my foster home. I would benefit from dog another dog to help me learn the ropes. I would also benefit from a quiter home because I do get scared of loud noises. I am a very sweet and loyal dog who loves to be your shadow and snuggle. I am potty trained and kennel trained. I had to be surrendered back to PPAR when my owner became very sick and could no longer care for me. When PPAR brought me to the vet, they discovered I had kidney disease. Because of this, I will need to be on a regulated diet to help control it. Please don't discount me because of that! I would love to be your lap dog, snuggle buddy! Zena has been spayed, microchipped & vaccinated. Her adoption fee is $268. If you are interested in learning more about Zena, or applying for her adoption, email adoptions.protectingpaws@gmail.com
