Story
Oakley a 12 year old catahoula leopard. He is a very special dog that has helped more than anyone could imagine. My husband is a disabled veteran who rescued him from an abusive situation. Oakley was trained by a company to become my husband’s emotional service dog. Oakley calms and soothes anyone in emotional distress. He likes to remain in eyesight of people he is around as he feels it is his job to protect and comfort others. He has a fierce bark which keeps strangers on guard but in reality is a big teddy bear. He enjoys playing outside and is a big kid at heart. My husband had taken a mental health journey and through Oakley’s companionship has learned to deal and cope with his emotional struggles. Recent life changes have left us with less time in our schedules. Oakley is friendly with everyone as long as there is no threat sensed. He is good around children as long as his face isn’t messed with so small children may not be the best fit for him.

Oliver is a very friendly dog with a funny personality. He is also super intelligent and picks and chooses when to listen! He is not good with cats or small animals. He has a strong prey instinct and tries to hunt squirrels, birds and anything that gets in the yard. He does very well with dogs his size and larger. He knows "sit" and is crate trained. He has never had an accident in the house. Loves to play fetch and be outdoors. Great for active and experienced pet owner.

A friend has a non profit and gave him to us. He is 3.5 years old. Someone who has a male in the house. He acts so much better I’ve witnessed it first hand. Someone that loves dogs, because he loves loves loves to cuddle. He’s very loving, very smart extremely well behaved.

I’ve had cheeto since he was born on July 19, 2016. Over the years I’ve tried to provide to his needs as he is an overly hyper dog. He is my first dog that’s needed more than constant exercise. An hour or two of walking everyday is not enough for him. He is very independent. He pulls on walks and constantly climbs/jumps over my fence. When he escapes, he is aggressive towards strays and hard to catch. He doesn’t get along with any animals, not even my other dogs. He’s a good dog to me put I am unable to keep him active enough. He’s very shy when meeting strangers. Cheeto needs a big yard with a high fence which I am unable to provide him with. He requires lots and lots of exercise. He doesn’t know any commands. I’ve taught my other dogs basic commands but I am unable to train Cheeto. If you’re looking for an overly active dog he might be the one for you! He has recently been neutered and only has rabies shot but I’m willing to get his shots up to date before he gets adopted by you!

Story
Bosa is a Catahoula hound that is 18 months old and weighs 65 lbs. I adopted him in February and he loves to go to the dog park and play with dogs his own size. We have another dog that is 40 pounds and she is four years old, adopted, and has been with us for 3 years. I cannot get them to get along and it is not fair to continue to keep him separated and crated sometimes because of the other dog. I’m looking for a good home for him, he is a good dog that loves the tug of war. Loves to go on walks or runs over 3 miles and he gets pooped. He would be great with a dog his age and size. He is crate trained, potty trained, knows sit, shake, lay, stay and working on more. Please let me know if you have any questions.
