Story
Hi! I’m Zeus , I’m a Ccatahoula mix who’s birthday is on July 4th, maybe that’s why I’m so much like a firework. I’m full of bursting energy but also so full of love. I love jumping on the trampoline with my siblings and even my foster mom. I can jump probably 3 feet in the air; okay not literally but it sure feels like it! I enjoy being apart of everything my family does, even cooking. I’ll lay on the rug in the kitchen and just watch everyone cook while kinda hoping they drop something for me WHICH doesn’t happen very often. If it was up to me that wouldn’t be the case. I just want love and attention for as long as I can get it. I enjoy playing with tennis balls and ropes and I enjoy cuddling with my family and going to sleep next to them. Milk bones are my favorite treat and I also love some boiled chicken on days that I’m given some. I’m not a huge fan of taking a bath but I sit still so its over with quicker. I just want a family who’s ready for my spunkiness and love. Apply for Zeus at www.hhfrescue.org. The adoption fee includes vaccinations, bordetella, deworming, rabies, spay/neuter, microchip, a lifetime registration of the microchip, and sales tax. If adopting a puppy, the rabies and spay/neuter will be done at the same time by our vet once they are 4 months old and billed to us. It is against the law in the State of Texas for a rescue not to be sterilized so we have to make sure it gets completed and that we have record of it.

Story
Meet Frederick! This handsome guy was found as a stray near San Antonio. His rescuer brought him into the vet and he did have a microchip, unfortunately his owners never responded to the emails or phone calls letting them know he was found. Adore took him into their program after some time and we have been trying to find him a foster or adopter. Frederick is estimated to be about 2 years old and weigh about 66 lbs. He is sometimes shy with going to new places and meeting new people, but he is a lovebug once he is comfortable. Frederick is active, but can also be lazy once he has had enough exercise. He has been good with other dogs so far as well. We have not tested him with cats or kids. He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and his microchip is transferred to our rescue which we can then transfer to his adopters. He is heartworm positive due to being outside as a stray without prevention. Adore covers his treatment! Adoption or foster applications can be found at www.adorehouston.org Email us at info@adorehouston.org with any further questions!

Story
If you would like more information about Regal or are interested in adopting her, please go to this link: https://www.animaljusticeleague.org/pets/dogs/rec1P3Gi1k38db69i Unfortunately, I am searching for a new home for my dog, Regal, due to changes in my employment that require international travel for extended periods of time. It is with a heavy heart that I’m making this decision that I believe will be best for my dog. I do not have the financial resources to consistently board them or have a dog sitter during my work trips. I’m hoping I will be able to place my dog in a loving home with responsible dog owners who will love and care for them. I adopted Regal 5 years ago from BARC when she was just a puppy. Regal is a 5-year-old female Catahoula hound/Pitbull mix (brindle color). She is up to date on all her shots and is spayed. Regal is happiest when she is outside playing with her flirt pole, stretching her legs by running in the yard, and learning new tricks. She is crate trained and enjoys long walks/jogs through the neighborhood. She is a loving dog who is independent. She is house-trained, knows basic commands (sit, lay down, stay, shake), and more advanced commands (leave it, place, roll over, twirl).
