Hi guys! Do you like Oreos? Well I'm the best one you'll ever have! I'm Oreo, a 5 year old, 50# Australian shepherd/Catahoula mix. I am looking for a calm older family that will give me the love, cuddles and exercise I deserve. I do prefer things on the stable side and would love to be your one and only. I don't want to share your love with cats or dogs and young kids stress me out. I know that sounds picky but man am I really worth it. I will make you laugh when I play with my toys and swoon with my gentle nose boops. I love to go on hikes but nothing to intense, I have a heart murmur that in time can limit my endurance but doesn't hinder my desire to go go go. I am very dedicated to my people and want to make sure that they know they are loved. If you are looking for someone to truly be your companion pick me, I won't disappoint you. Meet SNOOPY! He is an 8 month old Catahoula mixand is a very special critter! He was born with a congenital defect and his eyes didn’t completely develop.  This doesn’t slow him down for one second! He loves to run, jump and play! He especially loves kids and he is good with cats.  Snoopy weighs about 40 pounds and has a little more to grow.  He needs a weeeee bit of manners training just because he is SO foot loose and fancy free.  I don’t think this kid has a serious bone in his body! If you are looking for a friend for your dog or a great kid dog, this is it!

Meet Piper, this beautiful catahoula girl is in need of a home with plenty of action. She is very playful and smart and thrives when she has a job to do or someone to keep her busy! Piper is about 2 years old and weighs around 45lbs. She does well with other dogs and is already house trained. If you think Piper is meant to be part of your family and you are interested in learning more and speaking with her adoption coordinator and foster mom to learn more about her please fill out an application at www.caretx.org/adopt. This dog was rescued from a kill shelter or the streets and has been evaluated for medical and temperament to prepare for a forever home and is in a foster home in San Antonio, Texas* and is ready to fly to its final destination once adopted. The adoption fee of $850 covers spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, health certificate, and air transport.
