Romaine is a 4 year old spayed grey cat who is very affectionate and loving. However, she can unpredictably hiss and maybe scratch with no provocation. She was found as a stray and brought into the ACC, then rescued by Whiskers A Go Go from At Risk list and sent to a foster home. We suspect that that Romaine was abandoned (either her original owners threw her out when she started to act badly, OR - was abandoned and started to fight for herself). We do not know how long she was living on the streets. Her foster person writes: "Since she has been in my care, she has come a long way and does not hiss or move to scratch very often, but it does still happen. For this reason, she cannot go into a home that has children or other pets and she should live with an experienced cat owner." Romaine is 4 years old, spayed female, tested for FIV and FELV, up to date on ll vaccinations and microchipped. She IS NOT a Russian blue even though she looks a little bit like one. All cats and kittens are rescues either from the street, abandoned or pulled off the euthanasia list at the city shelter. All are vaccinated, FIV/FELV tested, de-wormed, spayed/neutered (if old enough) and are delivered to your home. If the kitten is not old enough to be spayed/neutered we will do so at a later date, post-adoption. All adoptions require an application and donation.
