Story
Hi, I’m Sampson! I'm looking for a great home, and I just know there is one out there looking for me too! I am an almost 4-year-old super happy and wiggly and playful guy and weigh in at about 90 lbs. Though I did get pretty lucky in the looks department, I could really care less about all that because all I wanna do is tromp around and play outside and then kick back with my favorite people and wait for dinner to be ready :) I was adopted out into a home with 4 kids originally and would prefer a home without a lot of them now, I'm a low-key guy and that many kids was a lot for me. I would be fine with one or two older ones (around 10+). My anxiety got really high before I was returned and I'm currently on generic Prozac and am doing fabulous! I'm settling into my foster home just great and have a foster sister I love playing with. I would either prefer a no dog or one dog home (the dog MUST be little if there's one already in the home, around 20 lbs). I do love puppies, so if you wanted to adopt me and later on adopt a puppy, I would be fine with that, too! I am housetrained, neutered, vaccinated, and heartworm negative. I'm also not a typical Lab mix, in that my foster mom has seen no destructive tendencies and hasn't seen me chew on any furniture and I would NOT be suitable for a dog park situation. I am a typical Lab mix, though in that I LOVE people, car rides, sleeping on the bed, and eating treats. If you'd like more info, email your number to rockcityrescue@gmail.com!

Story
Cyrus-High energy lab mix, good with other dogs. He loves people and loves to play!Labrador retrievers are excellent family dogs, as long as you keep in mind their need for exercise and training. These are dogs bred to work and work hard and they love to have jobs to do, particularly retrieving.Labs are usually good with other dogs, other pets, and children as long as training has toned down their natural exuberance. They are strong dogs and need some obedience training at an early age or they can be seen dragging their owners down the street at will.

Story
Penelope-5 year old Lab mix- Not good with menLabs are famously friendly. They are companionable housemates who bond with the whole family, and they socialize well with neighbor dogs and humans alike. But don’t mistake his easygoing personality for low energy: The Lab is an enthusiastic athlete that requires lots of exercise, like swimming and marathon games of fetch, to keep physically and mentally fit.
