Story
Gertie is my name, and making people feel loved and special is my game! I am just about the sweetest pup there is! I’m gently, easy-going and content to just lay next to you in the house, sit quietly in the car or walk beside you on a leash. I am good with dogs, cats and kids, although, I am getting up there in years, so I might prefer a quieter home with older children. I could probably live happily in either a house or apartment because I’m a bit of a couch potato, but I do enjoy short, daily walks. I love to play with other dogs, but my favorite thing is loving on humans. Wherever the people are, that’s where I want to be. I have impeccable manners (except I might beg a little for food now and then), and I’m not even much of a barker. I would be a great travel companion, or delightful company if you want to just a pal to sit around the house and cuddle. I do shed quite a bit, and I am crate trained, but I’m also completely trustworthy. Do you have a Gertie-size hole in your life? Let’s get together and fill it with our mutual affection! Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process.All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Her adoption fee is $200. Story
We received Beau from the previous owner of the house we bought, the owner said he couldn’t take Beau with him and was going to drop him off at the shelter if we didn’t want him. We were worried about him getting euthanized so we said we would find him a home. The owner seemed unsure of his age but said he is probably 9. He is such a sweet dog who just needs a good loving home, we’re pretty sure he’s been deprived of love in his life. He has a lot of energy for an older dog, he is not house trained which is the biggest problem but if you’re willing to work with him I know he can learn.

Story
Phantom is 11 months old Lab/pit mix. I got him as a puppy at 7 weeks old, and he has been great to have around. He has a lot of energy and will need lots of attention, walk, going to the dog park, etc. He get along with other dogs great. He loves children, and people. He gets very excited when you return home and tries to pick up a toy to greet you. He will need a lot of space a fenced yard is needed, but he can jump really high and climb. He shouldn't be left with small farm animals or pets. He loves being with people and playing. He does like to chew things, and needs lot of toys. He has ropes, bones, plastic bones, etc. He is around 60 lbs and is very strong. I don't have the time to train him properly and would like to give him to a home that can give him the love and attention I can't. He has allergies and uses hypoallergenic shampoo and limited ingredient food.
