Story
Due to current travel restrictions related to Covid19 there may be a long delay before I can get to you. Please only apply for me if you are prepared to wait.   Hi there, my name is Marilyn. I'm a 13lb chihuahua mix, around 2 years of age and 12 inches tall and I am dying to meet you in person. Right now I am living in a foster home after being dumped, along with my litter of puppies outside the gates of the Shanghai shelter.  Whether it was the shock of being in such a noisy, crowded place, or being separated from my puppies, I don't know, but the fact is I spent all day, every day crying in that shelter.  The shelter manager couldn't stand it any longer so she brought me back to her house. It's hard for me to count all the foster dogs she has here, but I don't mind, because I am way happier in this place than I was at the shelter.  I don't cry any more and in fact I often feel quite happy.  My happiest moments are when I get cuddles from my foster mom or one of the other humans here. I love it when people show me affection and I can give lots of it back in return, so I hope you're prepared! Hanging out with the other dogs is very pleasant because we've all become friends. I could easily share my future home with another dog if you have one already.  Check out how cute I look in my little jacket and if you find me irresistible then please send for me right away!   I am spayed, vaccinated and microchipped and my adoption fee of $550 includes my airfare to Canada. Story
Due to current travel restrictions there may be a long delay before I can get to you. Please only apply for me if you are willing to wait. Hiya! I’m Buttons, a beautiful Chihuahua-mix pup, fresh off the streets of Mexico. I am almost 3 months old and weigh just under 5 pounds right now, I’m so teeny and cute! My rescuers are pretty darn sure that I will remain a small girl, even once I’m fully grown.   I was rescued off the streets of Chapala, a town in Jalisco, Mexico. Me and my bro, Beau, were all alone out there. Thank goodness we were rescued!! We are now safe and sound at a shelter in Mexico. I am a healthy pup and am soooo ready to start my exciting life, hopefully with you! My rescuers say that I am curious, adventurous, and full of typical puppy energy! I get along well with all the other dogs at the shelter, but I especially adore my fave rescue friend, Marley, who is medium-sized. I could easily live in a home with another doggy friend if you have one. I have never met a human that I didn’t like, and boy do I LOVEEE to be cuddled. Do you like to cuddle? I’m your gal! I’d love nothing more than the chance to move to Canada and live with my own humans. I hear the Pacific North West is so pretty (just like me, hehe) and full of trails to walk and dog parks to play in. Think you could be my furever friend? Please give me a home, I’m waiting! My spay is mandatory for my adoption to be finalized. LALDR does not cover the cost of sterilization on dogs arriving under 8 months of age. I have been vaccinated with all my puppy shots. My adoption fee of $600 includes my airfare to Canada.   Disclaimer: It is important for all applicants to visit our website,  http://www.lovedatlastdogrescue.ca/adopting/  and to read about Loved at Last Dog Rescue.  Information included in the profile is provided to us from the international rescuer or local fosters. I’m Beau, an adorable Chihuahua-mix pup, fresh off the streets of Mexico. I am almost 3 months old and weigh about 5 pounds right now, I’m so little and cute! My rescuers are pretty darn sure that I will remain a fairly small dog, even once I’m fully grown.   I was rescued off the streets of Chapala, a town in Jalisco, Mexico. Me and my lil sis, Buttons, were all alone out there. Thank goodness we were rescued!! We are now safe and sound at a shelter in Mexico. I am a healthy pup and am soooo ready to start my exciting life, hopefully with you! My rescuers say that I love other dogs, especially an older doggy at our shelter named Holly. Holly is so nice to me, hehe, I love her! I could live in a home with another doggy friend, if you have one; I know my place and don’t try to be dominant. I love humans and L.O.V.E. to be cuddled. Do you like to cuddle? I’m your guy! Being a puppy, I also have a good amount of energy – who doesn’t love puppy enthusiasm? I’d love nothing more than the chance to move to Canada and live with my own humans. I hear the Pacific North West is BEAUtiful (ha, get it?) and full of trails to walk and dog parks to play in. Story
My name is Snoop and I’m as cute as I can be.  That’s because  I’m a cross between a Dachshund and a Chihuahua. I’m called a Chiweenie!  I’m a friendly, compact little guy with a very pleasing personality!  I love meeting new people and wiggling my way into their hearts! I’m not a marathon runner, but I sure enjoy walking (unless it’s really cold or snowing - I hate cold feet).  My human takes me on a walk twice a day and it’s just perfect for me.  Another thing I love to do is play fetch . It’s great exercise and so much fun!  I am undecided on other dogs. I will bark at them with excitement, but also sometimes with fear. It depends on the type of dog. Sometimes I try to pull towards them, but usually just continue on. I have had doggie friends in the past of all different sizes. I just need to be introduced properly.  I have some prey drive  (it’s in my DNA) so I like barking and chasing squirrels and cats too!   It’s not like I’m barking non stop but there are times when I just have to do it - it’s my job!  It’s really sad that I am looking for another home. I know its going to be hard for me because I’ve lived with my humans  my whole life - 11 yrs!  I don’t have a choice tho. My family has changed - there are just the two of us - my human and me.  She works a lot and is away from home a long time everyday.   When I’m here alone, so long,  I feel lonely and anxious.  She knows this situation is unhealthy and she wants something better for me.  I guess she’s right.  It’s no fun being by myself all day.   I’d feel better if I could be with humans who are home a lot.  Chiweenies tend to latch on to one human but I can get along with others too!  As long as I am getting attention and affection, I’m happy.  I am very well behaved with food.  Humans can leave a plate of yummy cheese or whatever on the floor or coffee table and I won’t take it unless I get the “go ahead.”   And I don’t over eat.  If my human fills my bowl up too full, I stop as soon as I’ve had enough.   I eat kibble and I love chicken (especially rotisserie) and little bits of cheese too!   I eat my dinner when my human eats because I really don’t like eating alone!  I’m an affectionate and cuddly little lap dog who just wants to be with kind, loving humans.  If I am yours, I’ll never leave your side and will always look out for you.  I’m a pretty good little watch dog - I’ll alert if there is any threat of danger!  l’ll keep you company in the daytime and snuggle up with you on the sofa at night.   I am dedicated and will become a little shadow!   You can’t get a better friend than me.  If I get the chance, I will capture your heart and bring you lots of joy!

Story
Hello! I’m Dori and would love to have a foster parent or better yet a forever parent to share time with me. I’m told I’m around 3 yrs old (maybe a bit older ) and a bit quirky. I truly love calm female energy but would be okay with the right dad around too.  I don’t do well with other animals or kids so you would have to be my only bestie.I know I’m cute and sassy and would love to cuddle next to you and go for walks. If you could help me or know of someone complete an application to take me home   Thank you for reading  Love Dori ##597414##
