Story
Hey there, BBCR fans! Come see Miss KC! This little 2 year old Chihuahua needs a patient home who can help her learn to trust again. We don’t know exactly what she’s been through but we don’t think that it was pretty. She would prefer a quiet home who can give her time to adjust to new people slowly. Once she learns that a person is safe, she is as sweet as pie. She hasn’t interacted much with other dogs in her foster home so she would do well as an only dog or with a dog who respects her space. If you can give this girl the special home that she needs, please apply at www.bigbonescaninerescue.com. She is in foster in Greeley and her adoption fee is $350.

Story
His name is Hoss Man. He is a 13 year old chihuahua/ Shih tzu mix. He is neutered. Hoss Man is my brother's dog, but my brother was recently incarcerated and will be gone for quite some time. I cannot care for him much longer at my home since there is a number of pets restriction where I live. Due to his age I am concerned about surrendering Hoss Man to the humane society here in Fort Collins, for fear that he may be euthanized. Hoss is good around children and gets along well with smaller dogs. He does not do well with cats. I am seeking a loving family to adopt him outright so that he can spend his remaining years in a happy home.

Story
Grandma is a 9-year-old mixed breed rescued from a high-kill shelter. This dog is current on vaccinations, microchipped, 4dx/heartworm tested, and spayed/neutered. This dog is also tested with other dogs, kennel-trained, and housebroken. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if it might be a good fit for your home. The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal. The hold does not require that you adopt the animal, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Hold times cannot exceed 5 days. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals. ***COVID-19 Update: We typically host weekly Saturday adoption events. In order to follow the CDC's recommendation for COVID-19 protocols, we will be suspending our weekly Saturday adoption events until given the clear. Adoptions for individual animals will occur by private adoption appointment. Appointments are scheduled pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. As always, our foster homes are happy to speak to approved applicants prior to meeting up to ensure compatible matches. Furthermore, they are happy to accommodate video chat, text messages, pictures, etc. to reduce in-person contact. While our adoption appointment objects are thoroughly disinfected before and after use (writing pens, clipboard, tables), adoption paperwork, medical records, and adoption fees can also be completed electronically (which is preferred). Private appointments will be scheduled in intervals to avoid large gatherings of people.*** Please note, we do not have the ability to process adoption applications at our adoption events, so please plan accordingly. If an application is submitted past 5pm on Monday-Thursday, it will begin review the following day. If submitted on Friday-Sunday, it will begin review on Monday. It takes approximately 48-72 hours for an application to be processed. For additional questions regarding meeting this dog please contact us via text/email at 970.699.6772, or contact@bounceanimalrescue.org. We apologize for any inconvenience, but due to a high volume of inquiries, calls and voicemails regarding adoption will not be returned. Thank you for choosing adoption! If you would like more information on our organization please visit our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org.
