Story
I do not have enough time to properly train him and give him the attention he needs. He is on the aggressive side, dominant , snips at kids and guests. Barks a lot. Very vigilant. Finds holes in the fence and runs then comes back. He is for sure a troublemaker. No fear at all! Needs a dominant owner. Otherwise lovely dog, beautiful pure breed chihuahua. If you love their sassiness you will love this one. Not recommended with small kids. Also I have another dog medium sized mutt. Chance dominates him and plays aggressively with him. He would love to have a playmate but not sure if they would get along. Chance likes to chase squirrels and cats in the backyard. I do not recommend cats. Also during winter time his paws freeze and kinda refuses to go out , needs to be taken otherwise he will pee in the house. He will pee in rooms he is not allowed in if he finds the door open

Story
This little 5 pound tea cup Chihuahua, was born via C-section, his name is cricket, aka bug or ricki... he’s a little over a year old, he was attacked while going for a walk with my son by a very large dog and my son didn’t have the money to have his arm fixed, the vet put him on pain meds, and antibiotics, he was brought to my house a few months back and is perfectly happy, but he does hold his left front leg up while running, it doesn’t bother him one bit, I’m a disabled mom of 7 kids so I don’t have the funds either... his accident was about 5 months ago... he has healed and is back to his outgoing ways... we buy him all the toys he could possibly want but cricket LOVES HAIR TIES, he grabs them puts it around his arm and shoots them in the air... he will do this all day long ❤️

Story
Hi friends, it's me, Meatball! I am still at the shelter assistant's house as my adoption fell through. I get so excited when she gets home from the shelter. I am a 6 year old, female, Chi-weenie. Fully vetted and housebroke. I get along with dogs and cats, but I really don't interact with them much. I would not do well at all with a hyper, in my face kind of dog. I do like kids, but would prefer them to be older. I love having a big blanket to burrow under, it's how I love to sleep. I am loving having a yard to run and play in. I LOVE chasing those squirrels. Love, Meatball

Story
Phineas, aka Finn came to us from a hoarding situation in norther Michigan. While he is very sweet and loving to someone he knows, he is extremely timid and scared of anyone new. Finn will need a very special home with someone who is patient and gentle. He will do best in a quiet home with not a lot of visitors. As is the case with most hoarding or puppy mill situations, he did not get a lot of human interaction and is still learning to trust humans. He is treat motivated, so that helps. He also didn't get much experience with the out doors, so we are still working on potty training. He is tiny and soft, and totally worth the extra effort he requires. Phineas aka Finn is spay/neutered, microchipped, current on vaccines, heartworm tested and on prevention. Adoption fee for Phineas aka Finn is $275. If you are interested in adopting Phineas aka Finn, please fill out an adoption application http://www.furgetusnotrescue.org/application.html .

Story
Randy is a sweet, loving chihuahua mix that is approx 4.5 years old. He came to us from a hoarding case all the way from Muskegon. He has been around many other dogs and people, but can be slow to warm up to new ones. He can be dominant with other dogs at times, so proper slow introductions are needed. Being from a hoarding case, he was not potty trained. He has came a long way, but we are still working on him letting us know when he has to go out. He loves treats, and to sleep on his person. He will be your shadow! Randy is spay/neutered, microchipped, current on vaccines, heartworm tested and on prevention. Adoption fee for Randy is $275. If you are interested in adopting Randy, please fill out an adoption application http://www.furgetusnotrescue.org/application.html .
