Hello, I'm Hank! I'm a nice senior gentleman who came to Heartland with my brother Buddy. We are best friends and need to go home together. We love to snuggle up together in bed. We are really sweet little guys who love snuggles, going on walks and spending time with you. On sunny days, I like to sunbath in the yard. I am also crate trained. I love to burrow in my blankets on a chilly day. I am an older man with lots of life experience, my vision isn't the best and I also have some dental issues. I have been around other dogs and I don't mind them at all. I also am ok with calm children once I get to know them. My brother and I are looking for a nice home to spend our golden years in. Please come to Heartland to meet me. I would like to meet your entire family including other dogs in the home. Feel free to ask staff if you have questions about my health.

Charlie is a senior, about 7- 12 years estimated. He's had a pretty rough life up till now, he just needs to catch a break and find his forever home. He has a tooth that needs a vet to look at, other than that hes a sweet pup who's in a bad situation right now. He needs out asap, so if you're interested, dont hesitate! Please help him get out, hes in a bad place.

Jax is estimated to be 1-3 years old and weighs around 8 lb. He came from a home with 6 other small dogs living in a condemned home that needed immediate rescue. He takes a few days to settle in and feel safe but can you blame him? Once he is settled, he is a very sweet, very affectionate lap dog. In true chi fashion, he’s pretty opinionated. He will growl at other dogs if they try and steal his pets and he lets his foster mom know that wiping muddy paws is not something he enjoys. He is good with other dogs his size but would be fine as an only dog as well. He will need to be fed separately since he will growl at others that try and share his meal. That’s to be expected as he was probably always wondering when his next meal would come. Jax is not a fan of being left alone and will bark and howl but thankfully calms down after a little bit. Because of this, an apartment is probably not ideal. He likes his crate or as we refer to it, his man cave. He is mostly potty trained but since he is not neutered, he will need to wear a belly band until he is fixed. Jax will need to go to a home with older, dog savvy children that understand how to respect the space of a tiny fellow. Sawyer ❤️ he came from a cold shelter floor to a warm HH foster’s lap ☺️....he is ready for adoption now..... Sawyer is a fun loving energetic 6 year old little boy. He is great with people, kids and all sizes of dogs. Cats take a bit but he can get along a cat. He enjoys walks and snuggling. Would do best with other little dogs in the home to play with. He was an owner surrender to the shelter because of his potty issues. Come to find out he just had a UTI and just needed some urinary food. HH got him all fixed up and no issues anymore. He just needed some love and care and he’s a perfect little boy 🐾.....www.hopeshavenfriends.org
