Story
I adopted Stella a few months ago to keep her from going to the animal shelter. She a very loving and protective dog, she can get anxious but I removed her from an abusive home so she just needs someone who can overcome her anxiety with her, and fill her with love. She seems aggressive at first to strangers or any other dog but she’s ultimately a sweetheart after a few minutes. Loves to play around with other dogs, and people. Loves treats. She knows a few tricks but needs someone who can invest that time into her.

Story
Very cuddly loving young dog around 5-6 years old. Seems to prefer women; He was adopted by my Aunt a few months ago but due to unexpected severe health issues she can no longer care for him. I brought him home and he is accepting of my Great Pyrenees dogs and barn cats and chickens. He doesn’t tolerate my young energetic 5 year old daughter. Prefers to sleep under blankets curled on my stomach. Very sweet, lapdog, great companion, has current rabies shot and I’m not sure if he is fixed I’m assuming so.

  Meet Darci, a very sweet, approximately three year old, 7.5 pound Longhair Chihuahua! Just look at that sweet face!   Darci came to Pawed Squad in bad condition with lots of hair loss and extremely underweight - only three pounds! Now she has gained two pounds and her skin and coat are starting to look much better! She has always been very sweet in her foster home, she picked up on the routine quickly and gets along very well with her foster siblings her size.   Darci quickly earned the privilege of sleeping overnight unpenned, she loves to sleep on fluffy dog beds. She will sleep with her foster mom on occasion. She does well going outside to do her business but with all dogs in a new situation, there is an adjustment period.   Darci is very affectionate. We don't know how she is with children or cats, we prefer a home with kids over the age of six. The perfect home for Darci would have another small dog so she can play - she is very social with other small dogs. Darci is being fostered in the Abilene, Texas area - we do not ship.
