You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Adoption Application Charlie is a cute little guy who needs a quiet environment and people who are willing to give him time and their understanding and patience. He gets overwhelmed easily and shows it by growling at people. He needs people who understand that his aggressive behavior is the result of fear and not anything personal. For example, he joyfully wags his tail when his foster family comes home and has tolerated a few seconds of petting, but then he goes back to keeping his distance. He will also occasionally sit in his foster Mom's lap and press his head against her arm (she hasn't tried to pet him in those moments because she doesn't want to ruin them by triggering his anxiety). He loves going for walks, but hates moving vehicles (maybe he was hit by a car at some point in his life?), and has shown that he will play bow (only after getting to know his foster for several weeks). We do not recommend him for families with small children. We will be at the Potomac Mills PetSmart located at 13337 Worth Avenue, Woodbridge VA 22192 on Sundays from 12:30 - 3:00 and at the Lorton PetValu located at 9427 Market Street Square Lorton VA on the 2nd Saturday of each month from 12:00 - 2:00. Hopps is the sweetest little guy!! He is a 8 yr old 17lb chihuahua who is such a snuggle bug and loves nothing more then to cuddle and be with his people. He is honestly one of the BEST DOGS EVER. He is such a joy to be around and is dog friendly, cat friendly, and kid friendly.!!! He LOVES everything and every one. Hopps is such a easy going dog who Is perfectly behaved in the house as well as anywhere else you take him. He’s a dog you can take to brunch and on road trips and he’ll woo everyone he comes into contact with!! He’s a total teddy bear and would make a super addition to any household. Hopps is in good health although he does have a slight heart murmur and currently gets a pill daily for this. This is easy to keep up with and he just needs that special someone to give him a chance and allow him to finally know what it’s like to be in a loving forever family. Stella is a 3 yr old 13lb beautiful chihuahua mix who was rescued just in the nick of time from being euthanized at a Texas shelter. She had a rough start to life and used to be terrified of people but she has shown that with a little love and patience she is ready to trust. Once she bonds to you the connection with her is magical and she gets super excited every time she sees you, even if you’ve only been gone for a few minutes in the other room. Lol Stella does good with other dogs and she knows basic commands and is easyily trainable. She is a silly little girl that is a true joy to watch as she comes out of her shell. Stella would do best in a home with a fenced in yard and other dogs or a least one other dog to keep her company and play with. Stella loves to beable to run around and explore with her doggy friends. And afterwards she will come in and grab her toys and roll around and play with them and then will bring them to her bed to rest. And once she is all rested up she will do it all over again. Stella has come such a long way in a short time and although she still is hesitant meeting new people she does come around once she knows you aren’t going to hurt her. Bonzai is a handsome six year old 13 lb. chihuahua mix who loves to be outside and go on walks. Bonzai also loves his humans and gets SO excited when they come home from work. He will run around all silly and actually jumps several feet off the floor just so you will catch him and hold him. He’s not afraid at all to jump! He also enjoys quiet time with his humans and much prefers relaxing on the couch with you rather than playing with his toys. Bonzai loves routines. He waits patiently in the kitchen for his food, then drinks some water, and then wants to go outside. He also knows basic commands and is eager to learn more. Bonzai is super sweet and very active! He loves to run and is very playful. He has delivered pizza and helped save dogs on rescue missions! He loves car rides and flew on a private plane! He is up for anything and everything! He’s the coolest dog! Please note that Bonzaii has nipped in the past. He’s nipped but he’s not a biter. He is very emotional and needs activity as well as boundaries. He’s really sweet and looks to his person for guidance and approval. He needs a active home that will include him in a lot of things. He needs to stay busy and have “jobs” and loves to be active and go on long walks or for a run. He’s high energy until bedtime and then he will build a nest and snuggle. He truly is a special little dog. Bonzai is one cool, and oh so cute, little dude just looking for his forever person. Is that you?

DEVO is a 13lb 10 yr old Minpin who is sweet as can be and such a gentle soul. He truly is such a love and does great with children and other dogs. He loves exploring outside and sniffing around, snuggling in his bed and making nests, and getting belly rubs and attention from his people. He loves everyone and his tail immediately starts wagging when he hears their voice. Devo is a senior and although he is perfectly healthy he does have trouble seeing. He can see shadows and does see better in certain lighting but in the beginning while learning where things are he may bump in to things. This doesn’t stop him though. He still loves doing dog stuff and it just makes him bond with his person that much more. Devo is truly a special little guy that deserves the love and care a forever person and or family can offer. If you or your family are looking for a best friend just like Devo we would love to hear from you. *Devo is fully vetted, utd on vaccines, neutered, and just had a full senior dental.
