Story
Wiley is a good dog, but does not come when called unless he wants to or there is food involved. He loves to run in the yard (it must be fenced or he's gone). He's most happy when you are out with him and its a pleasure to watch him run. When I first got him nearly five years ago when he was about 3 1/2 years old he was very slim. He has put on weight due to daily medication for epileptic seizure. He can still have one occasionally, but they pass and in an hour he needs exercise. He likes people and loves a snuggle and lap. My husband and I have developed more egregious health problems and cannot get out with Wiley very easily. We truly need to find him a home with someone who will love him and has time and energy to keep up with him. They should have a fenced yard, as he doesn't come when called if he slips out the door. He LOVES to run and thinks it a wonderful game if he gets out..

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Milo Milo is such a sweet, adorable 5-pound chihuahua dog who was left at the shelter and ran out of time. Rompin Paws was asked if we could take milo to save his life,  YES! and we know there is a perfect family for milo who will cherish him and care for him for the rest of his life. Milo is a little cautious at the moment as he was just released from the shelter and is a little battle-worn and exhausted. Milo will be able to rest and sleep comfortably now. we have switched him to a human-grade diet and are adding oils and supplements to his food for macro and micronutrients to rebuild his poor body. From Milos foster "   This sweetie stole my heart. He is the most talkative chi I have ever met. Because we believe he is hard of hearing, care needs to be taken not to startle him or he will snap. But he loves to be in your lap and rub your face. He definitely lets you know when he wants attention. I think he has been misread because of his hearing issue, and because some can't read his talk. He is a great little guy." Milo is neutered, updated on his vaccines and will be microchipped and receive a complete Dental before he is adopted. Milo is on a Human grade diet and we will educate his adopters so he can live a healthy and vital senior life. To apply to adopt Milo- http://rompinpawsrescue.rescuegroups.org/forms/ He has an adoption fee of $495.00  All monies are recycled to save more dogs    Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.

Story
Koko and Tika are a bonded pair and must be adopted together. They belonged to my mother-in-law, who passed away. We are unable to keep them since we have a full house of pets already. My mother-in-law would be devastated if they ended up in a shelter, so we want to try to rehome them ourselves. They have not been spayed or neutered. Koko is approximately 8yrs old, and can be reactive if you move too quickly around him, so he would do best in a home without small children. Tika is a very sweet girl, and is approximately 10yrs old.

Story
Wiley is a 1 year old, 10lb Chihuhua mix. He was found as a stray in Idaho and came to FHDR in the hopes of a forever home. We believe Wiley has not had much exposure and contact with humans as he can displays some feral behaviors. He is very fearful and reserved with people and will need a calm and patient, adult only home, that is committed to helping him trust and come out of his shell. With the right love and care he will love and bond strongly to his people. Wiley is a curious little guy who likes to look out windows and check out everything going on. Wiley can be picky with dogs and would prefer to be the only dog in your home to get all the attention. He is not tested with cats however based on his level of curiosity, we don't recommend cats unless they are very dog savvy. Wiley will need house-training and basic obedience training support. He is kennel trained and walks ok on a leash with a harness. He is a flight risk and will need to be kept safe and secure when outdoors. Wiley is UTD on his shots, neutered and micro-chipped. His adoption fee is $400.
