Story
Meet Gabe - Gabe is a sweet dog with a touch of shyness, but don't let that fool you-he warms up quickly. He has roomed with other dogs and does very well. He often sets the pace for his friends, and they seem to follow his lead. Gabe is a big fan of food, toys, and pets, and he's always up for some playtime. When it comes to other dogs, Gabe is friendly and gets along well with them. He's also pretty good on a leash, enjoying walks and sniffing around. Gabe thrives on positive attention and loves being around people. He enjoys ear scratches and belly rubs, and he'll nuzzle up to you for more. With his playful nature and his sociable attitude, Gabe would make a great addition to any family looking for a loving companion. He's adaptable and seems ready to embrace new adventures with the right family. If you're looking for a loyal friend who can both chill with you on the couch and enjoy some outdoor fun, Gabe could be the perfect fit.

Story
Hi, my name is Khloe. I am an eight year old Chihuahua who is the most outstanding lap dog EVER! My story is sad; however, my future is bright! My mom passed away and her grandchildren stepped up to find me a home where I can be a full-time companion. Her grandchildren work full-time and I am alone all day. I have had a dental in last two months and my health is excellent. I have had great healthcare and have had heartworm prevention my entire life. I know there is a happy ever after out there for me. My mom would be so happy that a rescue is matchmaking to find the best person for my future. I would love to play in the snow! Thank you. Please fill out an adoption application at rangersreach.com. $250 is Khloe's adoption fee. An additional $200 transportation fee is transport from Houston to Wisconsin. Before you get attached to me, read all the way to the bottom. You will see that I am still in Texas- My rescue will make all arrangements for me to travel to you as soon as I am adopted. Note: The above bio on the dog reflects the behavior we have observed in the dog's foster home. We provide adopters current information on our dogs; we cannot guarantee they will behave in the same manner in a different environment with new owners. Our adoption fees vary, according to species, size, age and other issues. Discounts apply in some cases. Our dogs have been dewormed, heartworm tested (if over 6 months), started on heartworm preventative, flea/tick preventative, vaccinated for bordetella, dhppv, rabies (if age appropriate) and microchipped. If old enough they are spayed or neutered, otherwise it will be noted and under a foster to adopt contract until completed and an additional deposit of $100 will be required- deposit will be refunded upon request and proof of surgery. A transportation fee of $200 is required and covers health certificate to travel as well as transportation. Please be advised that our dogs are adopted to their forever families prior to being transported. Unfortunately, it is not possible to meet the dogs in person prior to adoption. We will Facetime and you may speak with the dog’s foster family. We only send well behaved, well rounded dogs, sending anything other fails the dogs. We expect our dogs to be adopted by families who understand- these are rescue dogs, they will need time to decompress, routine and stability. We put our lives into saving these dogs- we expect their new families to be prepared for a lifetime commitment before applying- dogs are not recyclable. Please do not send an email inquiring about a dog. Please fill out the adoption application found at https://www.rangersreach.org/ We are 100% volunteer ran and you have no clue how bad it is down here; we try as hard as we can to get through applications as fast as possible. If we spend all our time answering inquires and emails, we have no time to look over applications. Please do not apply until you are ready to bring a new furry family member home. We do not hold dogs for any reason. We do try to be fair and go in the order applications are received. If no response, decision or adoption is made we must move on to the next application. Applying for a dog does not guarantee that you will receive that dog.
