Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.ATDR 2579 Hi there! My name is Jake! What’s yours? I am a beautiful, red, 8-year-old, Dachshund boy looking for a new forever home. Sadly, I found myself in rescue when my human passed away. My foster mom says I am a handsome and happy-go-lucky guy. I’m 11 pounds of ball-fetching, toy-snatching, hunky hound, if I do say so myself! I get along well with my foster siblings, but like most doxies, I don’t like sharing my toys. I’m working on my house-training and sleep quietly in my crate at night. I tend to be a little shy around new people, but I warm up very quickly.  Ever since ATDR gave me a good dental you can really see my beautiful pearly whites! And these soulful eyes, this face and cute perky ears...you have to admit, I am a pretty dreamy little dude!  My foster mom thinks I would do best in a  home with at least one other small dog, no small kids and probably no cats. I am up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, neutered and microchipped! I would love to be a member of a wonderful family in a forever home, so what are you waiting for?! Fill out an adoption application and take me home! I promise to be the best friend you’ll ever find!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.
