Hi there, I’m Luka! I was born right here at Big Dog Ranch Rescue, and I’m currently living in a foster home while I wait for my forever family. I’m a sweet, gentle boy with a lot of love to give, but I can be a little shy at first. Once I trust you, though, I’m your loyal cuddle buddy and couch potato—65 pounds of pure lap dog! 🐾 I have a mild neurological condition called cerebellar hypoplasia, which means I can be a little clumsy and sometimes flinch when I’m startled. I might freeze up on walks or struggle with stairs, but I don’t let that slow me down—I always find my way with a little encouragement. This makes me unique, and I think it’s part of my charm! 💖 I love people and other dogs, but I do best in a home with older kids or just adults, since I’m still learning about my size and I can be a bit shy around loud noises. I’ve learned a lot—like using the restroom outside, sleeping in my crate, and even learning to sit! 🐶 I’m a low to moderate energy guy, and I love to play outside with other dogs. Short walks and a good game of tug-o-war are my favorite ways to get exercise. If you’re looking for a sweet, fun-loving, and unique companion, I just might be the perfect match for you. I can’t wait to find my forever home! 🏡

Moose is a sweet 9 year old boy that came to us heartworm positive from death row at PBCACC in March this year. He has done a great job healing and everyday is a blessing. Currently he is with a foster but needs a furever home.  Moose is a loving, oversized teddy bear but he is also a reserved shy dog. He loves attention and will make a fantastic pet! He is tolerant of other dogs but does not engage much, he prefers to walk around, explore and hang out with his humans! Ideally he may enjoy to be the only pet in the home so he can enjoy being spoiled rotten. Adoption fees are as follows- Puppies up to 8 months $300,Dogs up to 6 years old $200, Dogs 7+ years old $100. All adoptable dogs have been medically cleared by our attending veterinarian at Clear Lake Animal Hospital, up to date on vaccines, spayed or neutered and microchipped. All dogs currently on heartworm and flea/tick prevention and parasite free.
