Story
We adopted Ramsay from a shelter in 2014. He was believed to be 8 years old at the time. He is gentle with our toddler and has been great with other dogs when we’ve had to take him to doggie daycare or board him. He is slowing down, but is not on any medications. He needs a home where he does not have to go up and down steps. He is house-trained when we are present, but he has separation anxiety that we have not been able to successfully resolve. It manifests in not being able to be crated and going potty on the carpet. We use puppy pads only when we are gone. After relocating to a small apartment and both taking full-time jobs, we are unable to give him the love, care, and space he deserves.

Story
I got Joey from a family that posted an ad on Craigslist. They made him sound like the most perfect, well behaved dog. He is perfect in his own way but he is nothing like what they described. I love his spirit but he does have some serious issues that clearly stem from abuse. He has a lot of anxiety and abandonment issues. He's terrified of my roommate. No one can figure out why, he is a very gentle and quiet guy. He wouldn't hurt a fly but something about him absolutely terrifies Joey. So much that when I try to console him or get him out of the closet or hole he dives into, he nips at me and sometimes actually bites me. It's clear that it's not out of aggression though, it's definitely out of fear. But he still has broken the skin. He hasn't ever bitten me under any other circumstance. But he NEEDS an owner that can love him and only him as far as other animals are concerned, but he does get along very well with other dogs and cats. He deserves good loving FOREVER home.

Meet Zeus! This gorgeous boy is a Chow Chow & about 3-years old. He is medium in size. Like all Chows, he will require grooming. It is said he is slightly shy to new people. We find this to be a common trait for a Chow. Once he knows you, he is a love bug. Zeus has never lived with a cat. We recommend a home very well versed with Chow Chow disposition because he is all that! He is a sweet boy & loves his people. Zeus is currently in foster care & house trained. A home with no young children is required. He plays very well with the puppy in his current home.Interested? Faora is 6 years old and lives with 2 cats and a toddler. She does get along with the cats but has tendencies to chase after them. She loves walks and knows a couple commands such as sit and shake. She loves pets and to cuddle up on the couch or bed when permitted. She gets nervous around the toddler and will constantly run away from them and have anxious behavior. This is the reason we are looking to re-home. She needs a more quiet home and one where she can get more attention.
