Story
Max is a 7 year old Chow-Shepherd mix. He has the sweetest disposition, and calm and chill. He is happy to lay around inside or play outside.He's house trained, basic and some advanced obedience, has all his shots and is micro-chipped. He is good with kids, plays fetch, does not have chewing issues. He needs to be either in a single dog household or with a dog either his age or younger, as he would prefer to be the alpha. He is not yet neutered. He does have a history of getting out of the backyard if left out for long periods of time, which is normal for his history as he was an outside dog for most of his life until we rescued him.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi, I am Maxamillian, but my friends just call me Max. My owner could no longer keep me, but that is ok I like running around in the fenced yard at my foster home.  I am around 3 years old and only weigh in at 30lbs.  I seem to  like to be the top dog with the smaller dogs, but do ok with most larger dogs. I do play rough, so your dog would need to play like that. I can do fine as being the only dog in the home too.No way to stinky cats please. I can wait for you while you are at work for up to 8 hours, without being destructive. I'll just watch tv and play cards.  I am an obedient ,loving boy with my people, and would love a home with someone to take me for walks or play with me in the yard or even take me for a run. I could use a fenced yard to run and play in.   I am potty trained and crate trained and ready to move on to my new home, but probably not the best for a first time dog owner.
