Bear kinda just wandered into the family as a pup. Literally, he wandered into the backyard where Pheona was and just fit himself into the mix. He made himself right at home and no one came asking for him or claimed him so he became part of the family. He played and hunted with Pheona. They grew up together. Pheona took off for a couple years but he remained in Michigan enjoying its weather. Bear loves the snow. He rolls around it in like its a natural thing to do. He has a sweet personality. He will give you his paw when you are sitting close to him. If he really likes you, he will sit on your foot. He will fetch a ball. But all dependent on his playful mood, will he bring the ball back to you. He will want you to go after him to get it. He enjoys the outdoors but while inside he will plant himself at the front door and be your protector. He is a lovable and charming dog.
