Story
5 year old black lab/chow mix. She is spayed. She does not get along with other BIG dogs and is causing issues with them. She is good with kids, smaller dogs, and absolutely loves people, she just needs a home with no other dogs unless they are small dogs. Cats are ok. No fleas or other known issues. We just ask that you send us updates on how she is doing. She will come with her large crate, a little bag of the dry food she currently eats, a bunch of her canned food, a few toys, and treats.

Story
Mushu is aggressive towards strangers and dogs he was evaluated by trainers and said he's trainable. Would like someone that has enough means for training him professionally if not really good experience in training stubborn dogs and enough space to roam around freely!!! (please only apply if you are willing to work with him to be the better dog we know he can be) Mushu Is 12 months has human-like emotions, expressive face. He loves playing with his squeaky toys and us running chasing after him. Tends to come to us and sit next to us when we sit on the couch. He loves to run outside and go on walks. Our favorite is when he greets us when we come home grabs a shoe it just makes us laugh and is so cute! He loves to run, he is playful but at the same time likes to sleep a lot and will want his alone time, he is affectionate only with family in the house. He will get zoomies in the house and get hyper wanting to play.

Story
Animal Info: Doug is an estimated 7 year old, 58 pound Shepherd Chow mix who arrived from Texas on 3/31. He is in good health, people and dog friendly, and well socialized. He will make a great companion and family pet. We will update his profile as we get to know him. Foster update: Doug is settling in really well, he's a total happy go lucky guy. He's friendly with people and gets excited when he sees other dogs, does well in the crate - so far no barking or whining and is receptive to praise as rewards though doesn't seem to know any commands. He did learn sit. We will continue to update his profile as we get to know him better.  Adoption Info: The adoption fee is $450 which includes his neuter, all core vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test and health certificate. Adoption fees may be tax deductible and support the rescue of all dogs in our care. Story
Coco is in a foster home, and is currently not at the shelter. Please find info below on how to adopt her, thanks.Coco is a sweet old girl. Being a senior dog, she is a bit on the slower side but overall has a happy spirit. She would do best in a home without young children. Experience with the chow breed would be a plus! With age sometimes comes weak joints so she would also appreciate a home without many stairs. We are continuing to learn more about her so please check back again!HOW TO ADOPT - Please fill out a Dog Adoption Application, available at http://www.seattle.gov/animalshelter/forms.htm and email it to the Seattle Animal Shelter Foster Dog Program at adoptionreview@gmail.com.IMPORTANT NOTE: Many of our dogs will receive numerous applications, and the Seattle Animal Shelter asks for your patience during the process of finding the very best match. If you have questions about this dog that have not been answered above, please contact us at sasfosterdogs@gmail.com. If you would like to arrange to meet this dog, you must submit an adoption application. Thank you!
