Story
My husband and i adopted him in 2014 and it’s been amazing every single day since. The first day we adopted him we learned that he had not very good sight due to cataracts but he gets around fine. He is a very loving, cuddly dog. Over the last few months, Muppet has completely lost his sight and because of this has some anxiety. His anxiety attacks consist of barking, trying to be extremely close to someone, and whining, with most of this happening early morning. When we took him to the vet they just explained that it may be anxiety but did not offer any medications to help. He went weeks without an attack but has now been having them quite frequently and has become an issue with our living situation. Our entire family, on both sides, absolutely love him but nobody from our family or friends is able to take him. We do not want to let Muppet go but it is unfair to him for us to keep him when there is a home somewhere that can more efficiently take care of him now that he is a senior.

Story

Story
Dexter is a playful 5-yr old cockapoo who has been with our family for years. He loves to go on hikes, play outside, and be with his humans. Dexter is protective of his family which can result in showing aggression toward others and can take time to warm up to new people and new dogs. He is great with kids and enjoys playing with his dog friends (once he gets to know them). He is house trained, neutered, and fully vaccinated. Since he is part cocker spaniel, he does get occasional ear infections but his low-protein diet has helped! Dexter would be a great fit for an experienced dog owner who has time to spend with him, has access to outdoor space, and ideally in a home vs. an apartment (he likes to bark). He loves being active and we, unfortunately, are not able to provide him with the quality time he deserves. We are hopeful we can find him a home that will provide him with the quality of life he deserves. Please reach out to me for more details! Thanks!

Noodles is a very friendly energetic senior, either an oversized cockapoo or smaller doodle. He gets along well with other dogs and loves running around a fenced yard with them and hanging with his people. He was neglected previously but is looking and feeling great after his grooming and some medical care and ready to find a home where he will receive proper care throughout his life. He has an autoimmune condition and is hypothyroid, and is on daily medication which he takes easily in cheese:) Email njwoof@cs.com to meet him. We do not have a shelter- all our pets are in foster homes and can be seen by appointment only during the week, or at our weekly pet adoptions every Sunday at the Animal Clinic of Morris Plains from 12:30 to 3PM at 3009 Route 10 East, Morris Plains, NJ.
