Story
****HOSPICE FOSTER**** Phoebe is approximately 9 years old and weighs 23 pounds. When rescued, it was discovered that Phoebe had been suffering a long time with a large bladder stone requiring surgery to remove. Because of the stone's large size and length of time in her bladder, Phoebe's recovery is taking longer than expected. Also, while being examined, our vet  noticed that Phoebe's heart rate was slower than normal. A visit to the cardiologist revealed a serious heart condition requiring a pacemaker. However, the risk of surgery to install a pacemaker is too great. Therefore the only thing we can do is limit physical activity so as not to strain her heart. Phoebe is very loving and sweet. She loves people and enjoys cuddling and giving kisses. She will need an adult home without other pets. If you are interested in becoming a permanent foster for Phoebe, please first complete the online foster application at  www.greatpets.org. You'll be contacted shortly after your application is received.  Phoebe is current on all vaccinations, flea treatment, spayed and microchipped.

Story
Adrian comes from a kill shelter after he was found wandering the streets. His solid black, shiny, beautiful wavy coat and mannerisms suggest that he is pure breed. He is a fun, easygoing guy, full of personality, sweet, loving, happy. Easy to meet. He enjoys walks, not so much car rides, and definitely does not like to be in enclosed places, gets very anxious. He does have a cataract in his left eye and is prone to ear infections as cockers tend to be. Otherwise healthy and no regular medications . Also needs foster home which is a great way to try out a dog you might want to keep.

Story
Canelo was born on August 4,2018 his mother Bella has been with me for 10 years so I thought it was time to have another dog so I kept Canelo he was the first of three puppies she had that litter, now fast forward a year now and while having two dogs seemed ideal my land lord thinks otherwise which is why I am looking to re home him through adoption he’s the perfect companionship, very playful dog loves to run around outside whether it’d be at the front or someone’s backyard he enjoys the outdoors once he’s tired he loves to nap. He has no bad habits he gets along with other dogs and children he has never bit anyone or another dog. He’s not fully potty trained which is why he stays in a crate with pads around the floor or gets to go outside often to pee. I’m sure with practice he should be able to be fully trained. He loves toys and treats

These pups are in Dana Point, California too!

Story
Miss Wendy was a special rescue.  Missy was hit by a car and then dumped in the night drop of a local shelter.  She sat there until she became ill and we rescued her.  She is an extremely sweet girl.  She is spayed, microchipped and fully vaccinated, but she is missing her teeth on the left side of her mouth due to the vehicle impact.  No other damage was done.  She is great with other dogs and loves to be with her person following her around.  We call her "Wanna" (short for wanna-be a Cavalier).  She has the markings and temperament, but we are not for certain what type of spaniel she is.  She has an adorable underbite.  If you'd like more information on Wendy or would like to schedule a visit, please call (951) 678-7497.  Wendy's adoption fee is $350.
