Story
Chester was sad and nervous at the shelter. Once we rescued him he warmed up fast and was very people friendly. He was dog tested at the shelter but didn't engage. He was fearful of the transporter's dogs (under socialized with dogs) so now he is in an experienced foster home with no other dogs. Cocker Spaniels are sensitive and need time to feel safe first. They want to bond to someone will want to shadow person at home and then will be your best friend. We will see how he does meeting other dogs in a week or two. He is a sweetie. Foster home gave him a bath and feels much better to get all the dirt off him. He can be handled all over by people and vet. He is very puppy like and happy at his foster home. Soon he will get groomed another vet exam for his eyes and neuter. More info. to come.

Story
Muffin is a 10 year old female and very loving dog. My mom has had her since she was a puppy and she comes from a breeder. Unfortunately my elderly mother can no longer care for her. She needs to be in a home where she will get the attention and love she deserves. She loves sleeping in her kennel at night as it is great comfort to her. She has a little bit of anxiety, but I believe with the right loving family would be a wonderful addition and companion. She loves playing with her ball and her chicken (squeaking it really) and ball consists of a few throws and then she lays down. Just enough to get her going!! Wonderful spirit and personality, very calm and loves the lazy days laying on the cool floor. She would fit in very nicely as a solo pet or with other dogs/cats/etc. she doesn't seem to mind any of them. She will occasionally see a cat in the yard and bark for am moment, but eventually she would just ignore it. Very laid back and loving! Wonderful addition to any family!
