Blackjack is one lucky little dude. As a 12 year old dog he landed in a high kill shelter in horrific condition. His fur was matted to his skin, he had bilateral cherry eyes, and his toe nails were completely curled under. It was clear that this older gentleman had suffered terrible neglect. After 1 year in a foster home Blackjack looks like an entirely different dog. As a result of the years of neglect, he does have some ongoing medical needs that require daily care. But this boy has so much life and love left to give. He’s good with other dogs. He ignores cats. He loves anyone who will take him on a walk, give him pets, or offer him a treat. He loves car rides and has excellent manners. Blackjack would love a family of his own to live out his Golden Days. Story

I want to start off with this is breaking my heart. But unfortunately as time has passed Gnasher has grown to have little tolerance for our other dogs. And he doesn’t much like our children either. He’s not a huge cuddler ( he likes to get his love then sit at your feet). He also isn’t fond of pet beds (he pees on them) he’s a great walker but he DOES NOT like car (barks at them) he loves toys that squeak. Doesn’t do well with hard treats (can’t quite chew them) he will be three years old in Dec. up here nail now he has lived with 3 kids and 3 other dogs. I don’t want to do this but I feel he might actually be happier in a home that is child and pet free. For shots he just needs his rabies updated. Which I of course could do if needed. He can’t from a family of an unintended litter. He has slight epilepsy. So he will have a occasional short seizure but the vet has never required meds for it. If I do not find a home he has to go to a shelter for the safety of my other pets.

My name is LOLI and I'm a lovely 5 yr F Wht/Red Cocker Spaniel. I'm 28 lbs of PURE SUGAR & SPICE. I was given up by my owner due to NO TIME. I am a sweet girl but am guarded with strangers at first and can be snarky/snappy with a typical cocker attitude... but once I know you I'm sweet as sugar, loving and affectionate. I was raised as a solo dog and lived a pampered life indoors but I was frustrated and got into things and was a bit destructive. As a result I don't like to be left alone and have separation anxiety. I am good with other dogs and would love to be with another dog to give me more doggie confidence. I've not met any cats so not sure how I would be living with a cat but I don't think I would mind a cat that likes dogs. Because I can be snarky, a QUIET ADULT ONLY home would be best! I'm also not fond of certain men that try to touch me too fast and I have been known to snap at their hands. I need structured disciplined daily exercise (I love to run) and interactivity and prefer someone who knows, understands and appreciates my breed. Meet Marcie, she may be 12 years old but she's a happy and active girl. She is extremely sweet and gets along well with all of the dogs in her foster home. Her foster mom is totally in love with her and says she will be hard to let go. Marcie has some health issues including a heart murmur (she is on some inexpensive medications for that) and she has some issues with her kidneys. She is also housebroken. She is very affectionate but we feel she shouldn't be placed with kids under 10 years of old due to some sight impairment. Marcie does not act like she is 12 years old and has a spring in her step and we think she has many happy days ahead.
