Meet new arrival Pepper! This adorable 9 year old little doxie/cocker mix was surrendered to a shelter when her owner was ill and unable to care for her any longer... her sweet disposition made her a shelter volunteer favorite and we are hoping she finds a home soon... She’s a sweetheart who loves attention from her human friends and prefers to be an only dog... she’s only 15lbs full grown and still active and spunky for a senior! She was never spayed until recently and as a result has lots of tiny mammary tumors, too many to remove all of them, that may or may not become an issue... we don’t know how long she has but is happy and healthy now and is looking for someone to enjoy whatever time they have with her. Email njwoof@cs.com for an appointment to meet Pepper! We do not have a shelter- all our pets are in foster homes and can be seen by appointment only during the week, or at our weekly pet adoptions every Sunday at the Animal Clinic of Morris Plains from 12:30 to 3PM at 3009 Route 10 East, Morris Plains, NJ. To help us better match a pet to your household, we request you fill out an application on our homepage www.secondchance.petfinder.com and copy and paste it into an email, or print it and bring it to our adoption day when you come. Meet Marcie, she may be 12 years old but she's a happy and active girl. She is extremely sweet and gets along well with all of the dogs in her foster home. Her foster mom is totally in love with her and says she will be hard to let go. Marcie has some health issues including a heart murmur (she is on some inexpensive medications for that) and she has some issues with her kidneys. She is also housebroken. She is very affectionate but we feel she shouldn't be placed with kids under 10 years of old due to some sight impairment. Marcie does not act like she is 12 years old and has a spring in her step and we think she has many happy days ahead.
