Story
Lewis is the cutest 2-year-old you'll ever meet. Come on, just look at that face! He is friendly with dogs and children (cats maybe not so much) and loves to play. It turns out he's also a decent jogging buddy if you're into that. He listens well and knows "sit" and is ready to learn more. After a good jog or a decent play session outside, he's happy to sit on the couch with you all evening. He's very affectionate, likes to lean against you when you pet him. He is crate trained and potty-trained. He's a talented mountain goat of a dog, too- a five foot chain link fence? He can scale that easily! This means he can't be left alone in your yard, even with a fence. He hates being left alone outside anyway. He wants to be wherever you are. He does have a problem with separation anxiety. This can be alleviated with a consistent, predictable schedule and proper positive reinforcement training. He's iffy on cats, but a talented dog handler could probably fix this.

Story
Bud is a handsome, affectionate Collie/Lab mix who is about 4 years old & weighs 65 lbs. Bud came into rescue from a hoarding case where, although he was well-cared for given the circumstances, he did not receive proper socialization with humans. As a result, Bud is shy around people he doesn’t know and is scared of loud noises. He loves other dogs, but his Foster Mom is unsure about cats, so he would need to be cat tested before going to a home with a cat. Bud is not used to being walked on a leash so he needs some leash training. Bud is a playful dude with a medium energy level and would do well with a fenced in yard and regular exercise. He LOVES to play tug-of-war, but he gets into the competition so much, he often needs a break during play! He enjoys earning treats and will take them gently from your hand. Bud is housebroken, crate trained, neutered, fully vaccinated & microchipped, and is available for local adoption in GA. If you have questions about Bud, please email us at info@barktowndogrescue.org. If you would like to adopt sweet Bud, please submit an adoption application for him at www.barktowndogrescue.org/adoption-application because Bud would LOVE to meet you!

Story
Peachy Pie is a 7 yr old, 25 pound, Collie/Long Hair Dachshund.  She came to Angel's with severe bladder stones that required surgery to remove.  The vet recommends that she remain on prescription S/O food for life. Currently she is undergoing HW treatment and will not be available until April to do any meet and greets.     Peachy Pie is a total doll with the cutest personality.  She has perfect house manners, except for the occasional shredded stuff dog toy.  The squeaker must die!  For inquiries, email inquiry@angelsrescue.org  An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online at http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms Please be sure to like our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue. *Some of our animals receive a high volume of applications, and we strive to select the best home for each animal. Story
Meet Ava! /(^.^)\ Hi my name is Ava I am a 1 and a half year old white and tan Collie mix and I weigh around 29 pounds. The great kennel staff that take care of me describe me as a very sweet and calm girl. I can be a little shy when I meet new people but it doesn't take me long to warm up. I don't care too much for toys or playing I just want to be loved on and cuddled. I do get along well with other calm dogs. My ideal home would be a quite one with someone who is home a good portion of the day as I do have a little bit of anxiety in my kennel. Currently, I am up for adoption. If you are interested in finding out more about me and my personality, please come by the Humane Society of Forsyth County Tuesday through Sunday between 12 pm and 5 pm. I look forward to meeting you! Lots of love and kisses, Ava! /(^.^)\

Riley is a three old Border Collie who loves to be active. I do not have time to run him or train him the way he needs to be. He is house trained and crate trained. He knows basic commands. He does have food aggression and protective of his back yard but is good at parks. He needs lots of exercise and probably some mental activity as well. He is quick to learn.
