Story
Meet Mazie JuM Name: My name is Mazie, short for Amazing. Amazing that I am still alive after scrounging for food trying to stay out of the way of meanies while living as a stray in a local neighborhood. *womp womp Debbie Downer alert* Favorite Food: Pizza crust. Tortilla with bean essence and a French fry that touched a hamburger patty but also touched the pavement. Look guys, I am not a foodie yet, I am just now adjusting to being taken care of. At a later date, I plan to have a favorite food. P.S. It won’t be sushi, I want my stuff cooked, now that I am fancy. Age/Weight/Breed: I am about 1.5 years old and weigh 40 lbs. They had me labeled the ever so pupular “Lab” mix, but think I am mixed with something smaller and cute like a Collie or Australian Shepherd. Favorite Song: Girl by Maren Morris. Temperament: Look guys, I was living on my own for a while and lemme tell ya something, not all humans are nice and it was wise that I practiced avoidance when I could. I am gaining weight and confidence, and I must say the weight was much easier to gain, from 31 pounds up to 40 pounds. I am shy at first, but really sweet once you can be trusted. What The Volunteer Has to Say About Her: Mazie would do best in a quiet non busy home setting since she is shy. Even better would be a laid back and confident buddy in the home that can show her how to act. She's great with other dogs and with patience warms up to people. Leash and crate trained. To see her blossom in a loving home will be such a joy. GOD'S DOGS Rescue, in San Antonio TX, does not have a shelter. Our dogs are raised in foster homes in the San Antonio area. Each dog comes spayed or neutered, up-to-date with age appropriate vaccinations, micro-chipped, heartworm tested and are current with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE OF $400 for dogs over a year old, which also includes the cost of transportation to the assigned location. Medical records accompany each dog at the time of delivery and may be emailed to adopter prior to dog arrival if desired. Microchips will be automatically registered to the new owner after payment of adoption fee. The registration site we use is Michelson Found Animals which is free to use and update during the lifetime of your pet. Please allow 24-48 hours for the new information to appear on the website. God's Dogs will remain as a permanent back up registration for safety sake. Please visit our website http://godsdogsrescue.org/ for helpful information re: transport, our adoption process and application, volunteering and fostering, and photos of our dogs/pups looking for homes!! Thank you for wanting to adopt a rescued dog, their LIVES depend on it!

Story
We're looking to re-home Griffindor, the beautiful 2-3 year old Collie. He is energetic, loving and incredibly smart. He is in need of space to run and play, such as a fenced in back yard. He is incredibly loyal and eager to please you, he just has very dominant traits of his breed which is to work and explore everything around him. He is good on a leash, but has minimal training, with more training he would be an amazing family dog. He is incredibly loyal and eager to please you. Please fill out our application and send a copy to the below email address with the application and/or any questions you might have: barelyusedpetsglendale@gmail.com. Just copy the below link into your browser to print it off and send it over. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BwCVF_JmGZQ3bTItb3NMWGcwZzQ/view?usp=sharing Us fur-kids deserve a second chance. Thank you for supporting rescues who help ensure we get one! And please remember to spay and neuter your pets and neighborhood strays! While I was at the shelter, I couldn't believe all of the wonderful dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens who are homeless. Take it from me, being homeless is no fun! Application is required. No member of our organization receives proceeds from our adoption fees. All dogs have past experiences, preferences and personalities. Please always consider the personality and breed tendencies of any pup that you are interested in adopting to ensure that he or she will be the perfect fit for your home, for both your sake and his! Do not select a forever companion based on looks alone. Make this home his or her home for life!

Story
Frankie and Felix have been with us for over 2 years now and are the sweetest two dogs. They both were in terrible shape when we received them with their litter mates in December 2017. They were starving, sick and had skin conditions that made them hardly recognizable. They have gone from clinging onto life to 2 dogs who are not only happy to be alive, but 2 dogs who are enjoying every minute of their lives. We would love them to find a home, they were terribly frightened when we first received them and have since gotten a lot better. They two also deserve loving homes. They have been in rescue for 808 days of this posting and deserve even better than the love we are able to give them! In our care they have received world class treatment and love, which has included heartworm prevention, spay/neuter, microchip and all vaccinations. Which means they are ready to be the newest member of your home! Please fill out our application and send a copy to the below email address with the application and/or any questions you might have: barelyusedpetsglendale@gmail.com.
