You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Thank you for stopping by to see me!   Please check below to see what upcoming adoption events I will be attending or apply here for a private meeting.  If you have other questions about me you can email Underdog Rescue at <underdogrescue@petml.com> ***Be sure to check your spam/junk folder as sometimes our emails end up there*** Due to concern around COVID-19, Underdog Rescue is suspending all public adoption events and community events. We are still accepting applications for available dogs but are delaying in-person meet and greets due to the ‘stay at home’ policy. Thank you for your support.  DOB:  05/12/2018 Requires another dog in home: Yes Okay with dogs of all sizes: Yes Okay with cats: Unknown Okay with children under 12 years old: Unknown Requires a fenced yard:  Yes Note: dogs must always be leashed whenever outside of a contained area Brianna is a sweet, young 50 lb Collie, who is energetic and loves to play, yet has a gentle calm demeanor most of the time.  She is very loyal and wants to know where you are at all times. She likes to lay by your feet.  She is a very affectionate girl and loves kisses and toys! She loves her toys so much that she will take them out and will even put them back on her own sometimes! Toys are her absolute favorite, so be sure to keep plenty around to keep her busy!  She is great with other dogs but has not yet met a cat or a child. She does require a fenced yard as she enjoys having full range and enjoys her freedom too much! She would love someone who would continue to work on leash training, as she pulls a bit and is afraid of moving vehicles while on walks.  She is a pretty quiet dog and only barks when alarmed. She does not go on regular walks but is outside in a fenced yard and absolutely loves it! Although another dog is not required, she would love another fur friend as she is a playful dog and loves to receive affection from both humans and animals.  She is waiting for her forever home and can’t wait to meet you!      Many of our dogs are rescued from commercial breeders where they spent their lives getting comfort from their canine friends.  In turn, most require another companion dog in their forever home in order for them to feel safe. If you are interested in a particular dog, and do not currently have a dog residing with you, please understand that your home might not be the right fit for many of our dogs. ***Be sure to check your spam/junk folder as sometimes our emails end up there***  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.  ADOPTION EVENTS:   Adoption events are updated as the foster home RSVP's to attend. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi, my name is Ford. I am a 4-year-old collie/shepherd mix. All of my vetting is up-to-date and I am ready for my forever home. I am house-broken and crate-trained. Here are some highlights of me! &#239&#130&#183 I have a lot of energy and like to herd the living things around me. (I sometimes do that in a mouthy way.) &#239&#130&#183 I love dogs and cats (cats seem to tolerate me…) &#239&#130&#183 I can sit, shake, and stay. (staying is really hard when I have so much energy!) &#239&#130&#183 I really like walks. (I think I would love runs, but my foster parents don’t believe in running unless being chased…) &#239&#130&#183 Being brushed is one of my favorite things, yet I suffer through a bath with a heavy sigh and LOTS of shakes! (The best part of baths is the toweling off after!!!! So many free pets!) &#239&#130&#183 I carry my favorite toys around and am still learning how to drop the tennis ball after I get it. (I like to throw it to myself!) &#239&#130&#183 I love rope balls and you should see me play with it. (I give myself massages!) &#239&#130&#183 A fenced-in yard is my dream as I get curious of the neighbors and have been known to run. (Loud noises scare me! Plus you chasing me is fun for me!) &#239&#130&#183 I give great hugs and chase laser pointers. (I am like a cat!) &#239&#130&#183 I have great energy and need to be active! (Life is too short to be idle!) &#239&#130&#183 The people at my local Petco adore me! (Who wouldn’t??? I’m gorgeous!!!!!) &#239&#130&#183 I can be leash reactive, but my foster parents are working with me. (I just get so excited by the world around me!) &#239&#130&#183 I’m not very good in cars. I can get car sick. (This could be because my foster mom drives fast…) &#239&#130&#183 My superhero identity is Shadow! (I like to follow my humans around like a shadow!) Do I sound like your perfect pet? If so, let’s meet up so you can see my greatness in person!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Interested in adopting this lovable animal? Please go to our website www.wagsmn.org and fill out an Adoption Application.  Once the application is processed, a Wags representative will contact you, answer any questions you may have, and set up a time/location for a meet and greet!  A home visit is required prior to adoption.  Thank you for choosing to adopt! Well hello! My name is Jennifer. I am from Arkansas. I am a super friendly girl - I love my people and a few other dogs I've met. Like my sister, Josie, I love to snuggle and sit on your lap, but I'm also learning about these toy things. They're really fun to play with! Tug is my favorite. Mom tries to get me to share and stop taking my sisters' toys, so I'll work on that. I am still getting acclimated to my foster home and love to explore out in the yard. The snow is so fun and I get to eat it too. I have two human brothers (9 & 12) and they're great - I love to use my loud voice and bark at them when I see them. I have some work to do with basic commands and walking on a leash, but mom is working hard to teach me new things...and I get treats! From the Foster Mom: Jennifer is such a playful and friendly little girl. We just adore her and her sweetness! She sure does love her toys and loves to steal them from her sister and resident dog, however, she's never been territorial over them. She seems pretty comfortable with her kennel, but am continuing to work on that. She can go all night without an accident as well. Jennifer loves her humans so much, she likes to jump up and greet them, so will need to work on that with her. We do not have any cats, so I can't say how she'd do with cats.

Story
Hi! My name is Wobbles and I am from Kentucky. From her foster: Wobbles is a sweet, easy going, blue heeler gal - with all the love and affection in the world! She is SO friendly and just wants to be by her humans. She is quick to warm up to you, as long as you give lots of scratches and pets. :) She has gotten along well with all of my resident dogs (all sizes from chihuahua to husky) and has not shown any reactive behaviors while playing. She does show a little bit of guarding with bones and treats (so far not her meals though); she communicates well with giving a little warning growl towards other dogs to say, "hey, this is mine!". She is house trained, crate trained, walks on a leash, and seems to travel well in the car. She is not very vocal yet, and has only let out a few barks when letting me know there's a person walking by a couple of times - seems to do well with the city sounds. She still has that ACD energy and loves to play with my resident ACD mix. She's just as happy to lay next to me quietly while I work. She is truly happy to go anywhere we go, with lots of enthusiasm and curiosity. She has been such a joy to have around! Wobbles gets her name from her back left leg. The intake staff told me it does not appear to cause any pain or discomfort at this point. It doesn't seem to slow her down much. She has some limited mobility that should be taken into consideration (i.e. home with a ton of stairs may not be ideal, but some stairs are okay!) I will be taking her into TBB Vet 4/19 to find out if any other vetting is needed. She may need to lose a few lbs to get to a healthy weight, however TBD until the vet appointment. She has not been tested with cats or humans; based on the breed, there may be some "sharky" heeler tendencies with children or other animals. From the Vet: Hi! I'm Wobbles and the vet wanted to provide an update after my exam. Based on my exam and x-rays my left hip is normal but I have some hyperextension of the hind limb which could have been caused by a few different things ie. congenital abnormality, previous infection or injury so exact cause is hard to determine. My future family may need to be prepared to pay special attention to my leg and make sure I am continuing to not have any issues with pain etc. Any surgical intervention is not recommended at this time.

Story
Hi there! My name is Josie. I am from Arkansas. I am so excited to meet you and show you how much I will love you! I LOVE to snuggle and sit on my foster mama's lap every chance I can get. In fact, my sisters always want to play with me, but sometimes I'd rather just snuggle. Don't get me wrong, I do love to play around with my sisters from time to time. I am still getting acclimated to my foster home and love to sniff around. I have two human brothers (9 & 12) and they're great - I love to use my loud voice and bark at them when I see them. They pet me and snuggle with me too. I have some work to do with basic commands and walking on a leash, but mom is working hard to teach me new things...and I get treats! I discovered how much I love romping around in the snow (& eating it too), as well as running zoomies. I'm also working hard on getting the potty training down. I love to be outside and explore and sometimes forget I should be doing my business. Please come and meet me - I'd be a perfect addition to your family! From the Foster Mom: Josie is such a delight to have around. She is just a little lover and always wants my attention. As you'd expect from a puppy, she is very curious - sniffing everything she can find. Although she has only been with our family for a few days, she has settled in very nicely. Her first night in our home, I put on some white noise, put her in her kennel and didn't hear a peep from her until morning AND there were no accidents overnight. She seems pretty comfortable with her kennel, but doesn't yet understand the command. She is VERY treat / food motivated though, so in time and with consistent training, she will know all the commands you teach her. Josie loves her humans so much, she likes to jump up and greet them, so will need to work on that with her. We do not have any cats, so I can't say how she'd do with cats.
