Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi, my name is Ford. I am a 4-year-old collie/shepherd mix. All of my vetting is up-to-date and I am ready for my forever home. I am house-broken and crate-trained. Here are some highlights of me! &#239&#130&#183 I have a lot of energy and like to herd the living things around me. (I sometimes do that in a mouthy way.) &#239&#130&#183 I love dogs and cats (cats seem to tolerate me…) &#239&#130&#183 I can sit, shake, and stay. (staying is really hard when I have so much energy!) &#239&#130&#183 I really like walks. (I think I would love runs, but my foster parents don’t believe in running unless being chased…) &#239&#130&#183 Being brushed is one of my favorite things, yet I suffer through a bath with a heavy sigh and LOTS of shakes! (The best part of baths is the toweling off after!!!! So many free pets!) &#239&#130&#183 I carry my favorite toys around and am still learning how to drop the tennis ball after I get it. (I like to throw it to myself!) &#239&#130&#183 I love rope balls and you should see me play with it. (I give myself massages!) &#239&#130&#183 A fenced-in yard is my dream as I get curious of the neighbors and have been known to run. (Loud noises scare me! Plus you chasing me is fun for me!) &#239&#130&#183 I give great hugs and chase laser pointers. (I am like a cat!) &#239&#130&#183 I have great energy and need to be active! (Life is too short to be idle!) &#239&#130&#183 The people at my local Petco adore me! (Who wouldn’t??? I’m gorgeous!!!!!) &#239&#130&#183 I can be leash reactive, but my foster parents are working with me. (I just get so excited by the world around me!) &#239&#130&#183 I’m not very good in cars. I can get car sick. (This could be because my foster mom drives fast…) &#239&#130&#183 My superhero identity is Shadow! (I like to follow my humans around like a shadow!) Do I sound like your perfect pet? If so, let’s meet up so you can see my greatness in person!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Interested in adopting this lovable animal? Please go to our website www.wagsmn.org and fill out an Adoption Application.  Once the application is processed, a Wags representative will contact you, answer any questions you may have, and set up a time/location for a meet and greet!  A home visit is required prior to adoption.  Thank you for choosing to adopt! You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Thank you for stopping by to see me!   Please check below to see what upcoming adoption events I will be attending or apply here for a private meeting.  If you have other questions about me you can email Underdog Rescue at <underdogrescue@petml.com> ***Be sure to check your spam/junk folder as sometimes our emails end up there*** Due to concern around COVID-19, Underdog Rescue is suspending all public adoption events and community events. We are still accepting applications for available dogs but are delaying in-person meet and greets due to the ‘stay at home’ policy. Thank you for your support.  DOB:  05/12/2018 Requires another dog in home: Yes Okay with dogs of all sizes: Yes Okay with cats: Unknown Okay with children under 12 years old: Unknown Requires a fenced yard:  Yes Note: dogs must always be leashed whenever outside of a contained area Brianna is a sweet, young 50 lb Collie, who is energetic and loves to play, yet has a gentle calm demeanor most of the time.  She is very loyal and wants to know where you are at all times. She likes to lay by your feet.  She is a very affectionate girl and loves kisses and toys! She loves her toys so much that she will take them out and will even put them back on her own sometimes! Toys are her absolute favorite, so be sure to keep plenty around to keep her busy!  She is great with other dogs but has not yet met a cat or a child. She does require a fenced yard as she enjoys having full range and enjoys her freedom too much! She would love someone who would continue to work on leash training, as she pulls a bit and is afraid of moving vehicles while on walks.  She is a pretty quiet dog and only barks when alarmed. She does not go on regular walks but is outside in a fenced yard and absolutely loves it! Although another dog is not required, she would love another fur friend as she is a playful dog and loves to receive affection from both humans and animals.  She is waiting for her forever home and can’t wait to meet you!      Many of our dogs are rescued from commercial breeders where they spent their lives getting comfort from their canine friends.  In turn, most require another companion dog in their forever home in order for them to feel safe. If you are interested in a particular dog, and do not currently have a dog residing with you, please understand that your home might not be the right fit for many of our dogs. ***Be sure to check your spam/junk folder as sometimes our emails end up there***  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.  ADOPTION EVENTS:   Adoption events are updated as the foster home RSVP's to attend. Check back for updates on which events they will be attending. Please understand that all of our pets are in volunteer foster homes and sometimes "life" happens and the foster family cannot make it to their scheduled adoption event. If you are traveling from a far distance to meet a specific animal, please understand we cannot guarantee event attendance. You may wish to consider applying and setting up a private appointment. Private appointments are only scheduled after an application is submitted and approved.   ADOPTION PROCEDURE: The first step in our process is to complete an online adoption application on our website: http://www.underdogrescuemn.com/adoptionprocess/   Note: In most circumstances Underdog Rescue will only adopt within 60 miles of Minneapolis, MN.  All of our foster animals can be seen by appointment with an approved adoption application. Story
Hello, I'm Countess Aven, but please just call me Aven. While I have a title, I don't use it. My siblings and I are herding breed mixes. There are seven of us and our looks vary widely. I'm just over a foot tall, weigh about 13 pounds, and look like a smooth coat Border Collie. I am a boisterous, rambunctious gal who loves to play with toys, run around in the yard, and sit at the fence to watch whatever goes past our pen on the bike path. I'm patient, enjoy learning, eat my treats slowly, and love to splash in the water bowl. Our foster mom is working with us on basic skills. We are learning sit, lay down, and watch. Our leash walking and potty training are works in progress. We are learning to be in a crate by ourselves. At night our crates are covered to help us settle into sleep. I do use my voice, so a shared wall environment will not be best for me. I like to dig so a digging box is recommended to save your ankles and landscaping from the holes. Also, I am not good with chickens as I chase them. My hobby is climbing fences up to 6' tall. If you are interested in adopting any of the "British Pack", please research herding breeds and go to campcompanion.org to apply. Our adoption fee is $300 + taxes.

I'm about a foot tall, weigh about 10 pounds, look like a rough coat Border Collie, and have spots on my snout that look like freckles. I am a boisterous, rambunctious, and adventurous gal who loves to play with toys, run around in the yard, and sit at the fence to watch whatever goes past our pen on the bike path. Our foster mom is working with us on basic skills. We are learning sit, lay down, and watch. Our leash walking and potty training are works in progress. We are learning to be in a crate by ourselves. I like to dig so a digging box is recommended to save your ankles and landscape from the holes. Also, I am not good with chickens as I chase them. When a cat hisses at me I run away. I am an escape artist and will climb a 6' fence. I need an enclosure with coyote rollers. I'm about a foot tall, weigh 11 pounds, have a black and tan short coat, and a petite bone structure. I am a chill guy who loves to play with toys, run around in the fenced yard, and observe my environment. Our foster mom is working with us on basic skills. We are learning sit, lay down, and watch without barking. Our leash walking and potty training are works in progress. We are learning to be in a crate by ourselves and it is really tough for us. I'm the quieter and more reserved one in this pack. I like to dig so a digging box is recommended to save your ankles from the holes. Also, I am not good with chickens as I chase them previously but I was starving. Story
Indy is a 2yo female heeler/border collie that is well trained, but remains reactive to other dogs and people. She would do best with an active individual or individuals. She has been running with my father in law and done wonderfully! She is 100% house broken and kennel trained. She is very smart and learns things very quickly. She goes out and plays ball almost daily off leash. She has a great recall and if a ball is included, she doesnt pay attention to anything else around her. She and our other dog are not working out together and therefore I feel she would do best as an only dog. She has been around my nephew and niece so has been around infant to 5years old. I would not say she is dangerous with them, but would do best with kids that are a bit older.
