With such an elegant name and gorgeous looks, it seems like Gwendolyn would prefer to lounge gracefully all day, waiting for her people to wait on her. But this 1-year-old rough-coat collie is no prima donna. Gwendolyn is happy and playful and adores everyone.  She’s crate trained, housebroken and is working on leash skills. She’s the perfect size at just under 40 pounds and you’ll want to lose yourself in her beautiful coat.  Gwendolyn is blind and deaf because of double-merle breeding. While the merle coat isn’t as common in collies as it is in some other breeds, it does exist. Fortunately, Gwendolyn doesn’t realize that she’s missing anything. She’s a smart, loving, sweet girl who is waiting for her perfect home. ##549472##

Story
Rush is an 11yo Border Collie/chow/Afghan hound mix. He is very sweet and great with children. He used to live with my in-laws and their grandchildren loved to play with him. That being said, Rush has separation anxiety. He hates being alone. If humans leave, he does well if there is another dog present who is his size or larger. He will be very stressed when left completely alone though. I would prefer for his new home to already have a medium/large sized dog so that the new owner can come and go as they please without stress.

Teddy Bear is a 6-8 year old male Border Collie maybe Cocker Spaniel mix. He will be ready for adoption after Feb 20th. He is a sweet and friendly boy once he gets to know you. Teddy has a playful side and loves to chase balls in the yard. He would probably do best with older or no kids. you can come visit him this Saturday at the O’fallon, Mo Petsmart store.All pets are spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations and on a flea/tick preventative.  Cats are tested for FIV/FeLV and dogs are tested for heartworms. Adoption fee is $110 for cats and $150 for dogs. Faith has obedience training and is very eager to please you. She is housebroken and crate trained, very good traveler and is always ready to go where ever you go.
